Houdini Logic Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Just browsed through the place, and even though some of the stuff are quite scary, I giggled at this.http://www.stormfront.org/forum/showthread.php?t=576366 ''Complete slag. Just look at her. Not an ounce of intelligence. ''
Guest Bilo Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 ''Complete slag.Just look at her. Not an ounce of intelligence. '' That's more irony than I can handle! So, WACCOE or Stormfront. They're both very good for laughing at deluded racist morons no doubt. But which is better? I know I've cracked a similar joke before, I just can't help myself sometimes.
Shrenchel Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 To pretend that left wing groups aren't violent is total bullshit. There are organised riots every year, most recently anti-Israeli but there have also been anti poll tax and anti-globalisation riots.Just because some people on here are sympathetic to these causes doesn't mean that they are justified. a) They're not the same thing though. We're talking about anti-facists. Being anti-globalisation or opposing the poll tax is not the same as being an anti-facist group. Surely the BNP, BPP and the NF are looking to completely isolate Britain from globalisation? They're fighting for the same thing. Whereas the group posted are part of an internation antifa network that looks to bring anti-facists worldwide together, surely that's the exact oppostie? b) Even if you were to group of poll tax protesters etc with anti-facists because they're all 'left-wing' you still can't compare that to the actions of the far right we've seen in Britain in recent decades. Ever read about Tony Lecomber or Robert Cottage? Fine upstanding members of the BNP and tried to do a little bit more than smash up a McDonalds. David Norris and Neil Acourt, the two men "accused" of murdering Stephen Lawrence and later jailed for a racist attack on a black policeman were staunch NF supporters. You can't tell me there's anything that any anti-globalisation or an anti-poll tax proponents have ever done in Britain that's even comparable to that.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 So let's get this clear...are they named after the Billy Joel album or not? # We didn't start the fire It was always burnin' since the world's been turning Do-do-doo-d-do-do Do-do-doo-d-do-do
Babylon Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Christ, just looked at Stormfront... that place is unreal!!

These groups believe that any body who doesn't agree with their extreme left wing views are fascist. The fact is with their narrow totalitarian views and their bully boy tactics they are closer to Nazis than they realise.
Daggers Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 ...but they can't be all bad - they find Mr.T funny. See? If you look hard enough there's good in everyone.
Finnegan Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 These groups believe that any body who doesn't agree with their extreme left wing views are fascist. The fact is with their narrow totalitarian views and their bully boy tactics they are closer to Nazis than they realise. Er? Do you have anything besides your own obvious bias to support that statement?
Webbo Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Er? Do you have anything besides your own obvious bias to support that statement? I may be a little bit biased, but lets be honest you're hardly neutral either. In the thread that started all this the 'we are English' thread, it's been assumed by everybody that this is a BNP rally but nobody has provided any proof, anyway. I read this in the music forum some months ago and it 'confirms what I've always believed' or 'coincides with my prejudices', whichever you prefer. From the 5th paragraph down.
Finnegan Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 I don't think anybody said it was a BNP rally. I think we sall said that their constantly enforcing "indigenous" and "ethnically English" and complaining about their impending status as a Leicester minority is rather obvious white nationalism.
James. Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Er? Do you have anything besides your own obvious bias to support that statement? You're the most biased person on here when it comes to political beliefs! This is the issue, each side is so entrenched in their own ideology that no one is willing to give an inch. Personally sometimes I read Webbo's comments and think "that's a damn good point" and sometimes I read your comments and think the same. Then again I sometimes think you both talk shit. I guess that makes me middle ground or something. I certainly wouldn't classify myself as particularly left or right wing even if I do work in the heart of the evil capitalist empire...
Webbo Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 You're the most biased person on here when it comes to political beliefs! Personally sometimes I read Webbo's comments and think "that's a damn good point" And with that carefully edited quote, I will bow out of the debate.
Finnegan Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 You're the most biased person on here when it comes to political beliefs! Oh totally. That's because I'm right.
Guest Bilo Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Oh totally. That's because I'm right. Technically you're left.
Finnegan Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Technically you're left. I so NEARLY made that joke. But... yknow... decided better of it.

RAR wasn't a far-left organisation and it didn't advocate violence. It was set up to bring fans of differing genres together to appreciate that people and music can co-exist. Amazingly, this was also the constant theme of messages put out on the day of both the major festivals. I seem to remember, although liking the music a lot, that the Stranglers were a bunch of thuggish cunts at the time.

JJ: The fascist thing came about because everyone must be a fascist who doesn’t want to join the Socialist Worker Party. Because Tony Parsons and Julie Burchill were SWP they had that as part of their agenda. I didn’t agree with it or with RAR. Rough Trade refused to stock our records because of this. Just because you have your own opinion. We weren’t going to jump on any political bandwagon. Dave, Hugh and Jet thought it was really stupid. The world isn’t like that its more subtle. We refused to do RAR. That's virtually what I'd said in a previous post, Finners asked me if I could back that up. It's only somebody else's opinion but it does sort of back me up. PS you were the 1 who originally posted the link.

You're sort of clutching at straws aren't you?
Daggers Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 I still fail to see any link with that interview and you & Finners debating whether or not the BNP are involved in this demo. Anyway, Jean Jaques Burnell - sounds like a bloody foreigner to me...get him out.
Finnegan Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Oh. We aren't debating whether or not the BNP are involved in that demo. I see no reason to believe it's not just a bunch of unafiliated chumps being inflamatory. Webbo and Kilworth were arguing that ANTIFA organizations are "just as bad" as Combat 18, the NF, etc - which Schrenchel and I were objecting to.
