Sir Fynwy Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 I had enough of moronic, chest beating idiots in the 80's, there is no need for the violent elements which attach themselves to football clubs and make every other fans experience worse, more expensive and demeaning. If you want to have a fight grow some balls and try cage fighting or boxing. All the kids who think it is or was fun really need to grow up and those of the older generation that still haven't got out of there systems are only deserving of pity.

Agreed, having seen enough shit and testosterone, having lived 10 streets away fromt the ground during 70's \ 80's, the quicker people concentrate on supporting there club rather then look for a fight the better!!
Alexikokopops Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 How young is a "young 'un" AWOL? Just out of curiosity mind.
Rich Fox Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Glad i went to mk dons instead of this **** farce I cant believe ive wasted 20 minutes of my life reading all this shit. Who cares about fighting we should maybe just stick to pranks like blowing rasberries at each other or mooning.

Mikey Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 What an awesome day. Nathko, I saw you, I was with Lildave in the train station when he said Hi to you. AWOL - A lot of Leicester fans are up for bantering with fans, and making a intimidating atmosphere, me included. Whilst I don't think that the coin throwing was right, I don't think it is as bad as being made out as you point out Leicester fans aren't exactly saints, but the culprits should still be fined or banned. I agree with the Walkers being a soulless shit, plastic stadium, and think that the New Den had a better atmosphere produced by the home fans, also your point about how intimidating the Old Den was, or how scary it would be to walk down to the stadium without the walkway or in the 80's are invalid, the Old Den isn't here anymore, as Filbert Street isn't, and we're now in the 21st century where violence by fans is frowned upon by the majority. If you think violence or racist chanting or charging the police is acceptable then you seriously need to get a grip. Millwall fans need to learn that you don't have to use violence or abusive chanting to create a good atmosphere.

Ultra Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 IT Project Manager. Is that the level you can reach in your part of London, just for being able to use a keyboard? As others have commented, you and your ilk have serious self-esteem issues, which are made worse when opponents outclass you on and off the pitch, as happened on Saturday. I can't understand why your lot picked a fight with plod after the game. If anything, they saved your mob's asses from the kicking they deserved at London Bridge. If and when Leeds come down in the playoffs, with twice the numbers that we brought, there will be carnage. You may even be mourning your dead, either on your patch, or at Elland Road - especially if you wave Turkey shirts at them as apparently happened earlier this season. Football has taken nearly 20 years to escape the dark ages. We're not going to let your lot drag us all back there. At the end of the day, you're just a small town in Charlton. PS It's nice to know, courtesy of Millwall Online, that Leicester fans have apparently acquired the nickname of "slumdogs"....
Darkzzz_ Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 What an awesome day.Nathko, I saw you, I was with Lildave in the train station when he said Hi to you. You know what, when I walked away I wondered if "the other lad" was someone from here. Your right mate, It was a great day. I loved it.
lildave3 Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 The BTP will be on a mission to find you. We went mental on that train. Conga'd into first class waking that geezer up too. Rowing down the isles I can't get over how good that train was. You starting German chants in the centre on London Streets was hilarious!  SSSSSHHHHIIIZZZEERRRRRRR.... Will try and get photos up later. Just from interest, why do you support Millwall, and why do you continue to support them through all the violence etc? To be fair, he's not just going to stop supporting his team is he?
Guest Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 I love the way you sing "you're not scary anymore" and then say how you felt threatened and intimidated as you had to walk down the walkway. As for outsung - who the fook cares? Are you aged 12? I guarantee you wear a replica shirt and travel by coach. Make your mind up, love. Clubs only pay for policing inside the ground. The met will be footing 90% of the bill. So council tax payers who probably have never stepped inside a football stadium in their lives have to pay to keep the streets clear of neanderthals? Nice. It's all well and good giving it mouth and shouting "your not scary anymore" from the safety of a walkway and the entire met police force through one of Londons busiest stations. I personally sang along with "you're not scary any more" because you are not scary. I'm sorry if you confused that with a desire to fight. In my opinion singing "town full of pakis" is certainly no worse than us singing Istanbul songs to Leeds or Hillsborough songs to Liverpool. Well that's alright then.
Guest Bilo Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 IT Project Manager. Is that the level you can reach in your part of London, just for being able to use a keyboard? Quote of the thread!
Shrenchel Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 So council tax payers who probably have never stepped inside a football stadium in their lives have to pay to keep the streets clear of neanderthals?Nice. When you look at situations like Millwall the policy seems completely unfair but in general its one that I agree with. The police overkill at 95% of football matches is ridiculous. Id be seething if Leicester had to pay the 200 odd officers it apparently takes to police a game against some nothing club that havent had an active firm for about 15 years.
clazkel Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 I met Pearson down at the Walkers when I got off the coach but I got a bit starstruck and just said 'Alright'. He said thanks for going to Millwall. He's a big bloke ain't he? I was gutted i missed the players as our bus stopped at the services for a 5 min toilet/fag break on the way back (which i didnt want)and when we got back the players had just gone, damnit. The players bus mustve been in our convoy then. I would've been starstruck aswell
Daggers Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 What a cracking thread this has become. Still, when in Rome - my Dad could have any of your Millwall Dads, especially AWOL's. My Dad fervently believes that IT managers are supergay. Not in the entirely legitimate sexual orientation way but more in a way that is, well, supergay. Oh, and my cock is twice the length of AWOL's too. There - another highly successful contribution to a thread

One of Barry Hayles where Potter goes from number 6 to 11
Simi Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Give me a ground and fans similar to Millwall's over shit like Scunny and all that.
Daggers Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Give me a ground and fans similar to Millwall's over shit like Scunny and all that. Why?
lavrentis Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Give me a ground and fans similar to Millwall's over shit like Scunny and all that. I thought Scunny was alright
C-man Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever read. Words fail me.
Simi Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Why? I just preferred the excitement around the game, I'm not talking about all the fighting and all that but in the ground. Yes, there was coin throwing that was out of order but the intimidating atmosphere made the game more exciting. When you go to games like Scunny it's just drab unless the game is half decent. I thought Scunny was alright I did not hear their fans once, yes good game though.
lildave3 Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Give me a ground and fans similar to Millwall's over shit like Scunny and all that. Tbh, so would I.
lavrentis Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 I did not hear their fans once, yes good game though. Neither could I, and I thought you meant Leicester fans
Simi Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Neither could I, and I thought you meant Leicester fans We were ok.
