Millwall post match

cos our fans never cause trouble do they! i should think the policing was tight due to both clubs reputation. Good result though and a good turnout

No-one has said that we don't cause trouble, but are we so bad that a walkway is needed to get the away fans to the ground? That away fans are kept behind for nearly an hour after the match?

Exactly- hopefully some banning orders will come from the bottle and coin throwing. Highly doubt it though.

It's a sad state of affairs when away fans need their own separated walkway for their own safety to attend a match :(

You have to wonder about a club who are appealing for help in identifying people throwing shit?

That their CCTV has been so bollocks for the last 20 years that they've failed to identify the scum who attend their matches week in week out. Does ayone seriously belief they actually give a **** in erradicating it?

That they are so shite at countering the cancer in their club that they need to provide a walkway to the local train station? What the **** is that all about? It was like taking a trip back in time to the mid-80's.

F~ck Millwall.

Id say it was a good idea because many lcfc fans go to watch the game without wanting to caus trouble but if Millwall provoke away fans then all sorts could happen. as for the 1 hour stay its an inconvinience, but better than fighting some hooligan wannabee and the coin throwing was well out of order

They've asked for help in identifying it? Unless it was their match of the season, I'm pretty sure those idiots are there every week.

I hope Millwall don't go up. I hope they rot. The final whistle brought an extra warm glow inside me.

Why didn't Maxi play. It was good to see Dyer back but after 15 minutes he lost a lot of his pace. We need speed down the flanks and Max Gradel should have been starting let alone not even playing at all. He's our best attacking midfielder and should be starting or playing at least 45 minutes of football. It's sad to see that Barry Hayles is our fall back striker. bring back DJ campbell!

Disagree to be honest.

Although they could clearly do more, they've taken a lot of measures and dished out a lot of bans. More so than most clubs.

The thing with the walkway is that you could ban every single home fan that was there today and you'd still need it, because even if they aint going to the game it's impossible to stop people who just want a bit of trouble coming out the estates on a saturday afternnon to try and get at the away gans.

I beg to differ, they were definitely day trippers. I could have sworn one of them was wearing a blue and white jester hat.

That wasn't because of our fans!

Good solid professional job. First half we weren't great (save for some heavy pressure first 5 minutes) and we allowed delivery into our box far too easily and couldnt string any cohesive passing together. Despite this however, Millwall didnt create anything clear cut and only looked to have 1 player who could hurt us (James Henry who killed Mattock most of the first half).

Second half was excellent. We got a grip on proceedings, got a lot tighter and controlled the midfield areas with ease. Millwall never looked capable of scoring whilst we had 2 or 3 decent opportunities on the break. It was so comfortable that I felt bringing Kisnorbo on was a mistake as they were causing no problems whatsoever to our back line but despite the inevitable territorial loss this gave us, we held on comfortably for a deserved win.

Lloyd needs to buck up his ideas.

I had to laugh at the 7/8-year-olds who were giving the willy puller signs and offering our fans outside lol

Millwall Football Club has responded to incidents of missile throwing during Saturday's League One clash with Leicester City by condemning the actions of a handful of people who threw objects towards the pitch.Such actions do nothing but damage the reputation of this club and its fans. It can only be detrimental to both following all the positive work undertaken on and off the pitch in recent years. The club will be doing everything in its power to help identify and prosecute the offenders and would ask all decent fans to assist us by calling or texting anonymously to 07765 465 748.

Anyone else notice the out of place ice cream van in a row of police cars? I'm guessing that was strategically placed there to catch the little scummers. You could see it from the walkway back to the station. lol

Anyone want to know who the c*nts were throwing coins and being twats? It's these bastards. I saw them - so where's your ****ing CCTV Millwall?

Just got back. Uckin great win. I was down the front right near them fannys in the right hand corner. Was great celebratin our goal in front of them. Can't believe how normal it was at the New Den. After all I'd heard I was expectin it to be proper mental. I was drinkin cans in Bermondsey near them shops for an hour before the match and never had no problems.

Never got on that last Leicester train after the match either and more Millwall fans came up when the frazzles went but no trouble. Four of em were spewin up on the platform in front of us. Proper violent sickin was funny. And then when the next train came the door opened and someone was unconcious face down in the doorway and stayed that way til we got off! Encountered many nutters on the way back. Sure is a funny place

You come across as a decent bloke - but 'no'.

Watching the cunts to the right and left today it was painfully obvious. Watching cockends to the right lobbing coins it was obvious.

These twatheads aren't new to the ground and yet they are still there doing this bollocks in a stadium supposedly rigged with CCTV.

The walkway is an abonimation, a symbol of everything that was wrong with the game which still exists in a small southern corner of London. All it does is reinforce the "status" of the twatheads who live there.

The club needs to act, the police need to act. The FA need to act.

This bullshit has to stop.

Pissed myself at the "We heard you ran from the Yeovil" chant. Kudos to whoever started that one.

Also, I never saw any Millwall awaiting us at London Bridge....whereabouts? I was on the first Leicester train back so maybe they hadn't yet congregated but i saw nothing untoward :dunno:

Pearson had me pumped at the end, **** me that was passion. Absolutely loved it.

Loved the day as a whole even if you're not allowed to see much of it. Before the game everything was fine, walking around in the sunshiiiinnnnee then going into Spoons for some Fish and Chips and then singing about Thai brides with Muz!

Class mate! Was an all around pukka day from start to finish. The game was average at best but everyone worked there bollocks off and we deserved the result.Had some good banter with 2 coppers when walking away from the ground aswell! And to top it off Maybury in Convent Garden after the game trying to molest some girl! I cant really explain you need to ask him yourself lol

Top day and top company.

was hoping for a better attitude from the club to be honest.

They've got a lot to do I agree but I don't agree with the part when you said they don't give a fook about eradicating it. The membership system introduced whereby everybody has to have a photo ID card when buying a ticket for a game and must carry it when going to a game hit their attendances hard but they've persevered with it. The club have also banned a lot of fans from the ground themselves. Something most clubs rarely do as they just leave it to the plod to hand out such things. They're clearly trying to some extent, just not hard enough.

All this they don't deserve a club, they shouldn't exist if they can't control their fans stuff is bollocks as well. It's hardly the majority is it, so why should all their fans be punished. Coin chucking? Sounds mighty similar to the revered filbo street kop that most people here (rightly) nostagically wank over. How would you have felt if the FA had kicked us out the league to a minority of shrapnel happy lads in the SKs.

I'm guessing from this that you weren't at the game today.

Pardon me for discounting your opinion entirely as a consequence.

Everyone I spoke to, at the match, kind of felt the same as me.
