Millwall post match

We are going up no problem, even if we get as many points in the last 8 games as we did last season we will finish on 91 points. If MK Dons average 2 points per game (which they haven`t done all season) they can only get 89 points. My view is 86 will guarantee promotion.

Great character shown by the team after the defeat Weds. night.

Seems as if that defeat was just what we needed to give us kick up the arse.

Great result, see no reason why we shouldn't finish as league champions now.

I'm thinking I should of gone to this game now.

Well done lads, crucial result after the mid-week defeat. :scarf:

Great to see Super Steve getting on the score sheet, one goal closer to a career total of 200.

Brilliant.

Sounds like we picked ourselves straight back up after Wednesday  not sure we would have been able to do that last season. Which is why I'm now 99.9% certain we're gonna win the league :D Good Stuff.

He's probably wearing incontinent pants :giggle:

Well I was worried after Tuesday and prior to this match, but I was clinging on to the hope that the loss on Tuesday might have gave us a kick up the backside and we can push on from it, It looks like that may have been the case.

I think we will win next week at home, Then win away at Peterborough mathematically promoting us, possibly winning us the title.

Hopefully.

Well done City.

:giggle:

Stringer: "And what do you think of the City fans out there still celebrating, chanting we are going up, we are the champions?"

Pearson: "Well, It's abit previous."

Absolutely immense win! I can't imagine how much of a great day the City fans are having, especially those that have made a long-day out of it!

Get in.

Rumour has it City fans are still singing 'We are the Champions, Champions of League One' at the Den, whilst a canny steward's income has just doubled by scowering the pitch after the game.

Yep! IMO this win just about guarantees that we will finish top of league.

Just such a shame that our dear neighbours F----t, Sheep Shaggers & Cov all got beat today, like f--k!!!

It's such a shame that we won't be playing Forest next season isn't it? :P

I'm still hoping forest stay up, even if by just 1 point!! It'll be fun having the top 3 east midlands teams back together for a season

Millwall Football Club has responded to incidents of missile throwing during Saturday's League One clash with Leicester City by condemning the actions of a handful of people who threw objects towards the pitch.

Such actions do nothing but damage the reputation of this club and its fans. It can only be detrimental to both following all the positive work undertaken on and off the pitch in recent years.

The club will be doing everything in its power to help identify and prosecute the offenders and would ask all decent fans to assist us by calling or texting anonymously to 07765 465 748.

Great performance to bounce back from the loss in midweek. Notable efforts today came from Jack Hobbs who was a rock at the back, Andy King who was excellent in various aspects of midfield play and Stevie Howard for his goal and general graft.

Even though they pressured us a bit towards the end, I didnt get too worried, as they simply didnt look up too much in the quality department.

As for their fans, no wonder they have such a reputation for being morons. Had one little s*** on the train on the way back, effin and blindin on his phone to his mates about the trouble he'd been involved in, acting the big man. He just summed up to me why Millwall as a club are so disliked and I for one hope they stay down in this league for a long time.

Back to Leicester again, glad to see Kis come back, shame hes not likely to stay here after this season. I do appreciate its a risk for the club to hold onto a player like him due to his injury history, but I still think he's easily one of the best defenders at the club, unlike some on here!

Definitely 'wall. From the same section where a 10 year old kid was offering us all out. Sheesh they start 'em young down there.

Jack Hobbs was immense for us. If only we could keep him next season. Cleverly also did very well.

We all dream of a team of Barry Hayles :scarf:

Hell to you all btw, my first proper post in here

Fantastic!

Just back to the car at Euston now and heading for home. Had a great day, greg's first away trip, and he gets to watch us despatch a supposed promotion contender.

We loved the whole day. Disappointed we didn't spot anyone in the spoons though. We outsang the chelsea[\s] millwall boys, and singing "you're not scary any more" was very funny.

Tom Cleverley was immense I thought, and also big thumbs up for mattock, gilbert, howard and fryatt who all ran hard and stayed strong despite the dirty cheating bastards being, well, dirty cheating bastards. But MOTM for me was Oakley, who just bossed the midfield all day long.

Sometimes you win games one nil and feel you've stolen the points. This was not one of those. Millwall got scraps of our table but the game belonged to Leicester. They can't have been that bad when they won at the walkers.

The Blue Army were in good voice, and even being made to wait in the car park for half an hour while the police took the millwall boys home to their mams couldn't dampen spirits.

"We heard you ran from the Yeovil" and "My garden shed is bigger than this" were great.

Greg says we've just got to get tickets for peterborough now. Hope they last till general sale.

In terms of the league, I'm not interested in anyone else's results. We keep playing like this then we will win games, and if we win games we win the league. End of. Everyone else can scrap for second place. Stand up, for the champions!

Millwall

Even after the official picked up whatever it was that was thrown initially, there was a few coins came flying out of the crowd..

What a cracking result, we fully deserved the win and played some very good football at times too. Oakley was outstanding and was my MOTM, but it's hard to pick a bad performance out of anybody in a city shirt.

Wasn't overly confident of Warner, he made some good saves but also there were a couple of moments where I thought he should have been a bit more assertive. I suppose it's to be expected though having only joined yesterday and not really knowing the defence.

All in all, great day (apart from the feckin idiot who announced that the next train would be 8 carriages long, cue a 4 carriage train to turn up :frusty: ) and our fans were in reallyy good voice too, cracking atmos, well done to all who were there
