haraven Posted 3 January 2010 Posted 3 January 2010 Kisnorbo was immense today, I wish we never let go of him. He had berbatov in his pocket. Glad to hear the bloke is doing ok, always liked him when he played for us and was a bit upset to see him leave.

Is he better than Hobbs, Brown,Tunchev or Morrison though? He gave a wholehearted display and got in a few blocks but he's limited and injury prone. I don't think we've missed him.
dandannieldanok Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I hope the FA slap a huge ban and fine on the old t*sser for his injury-time comments.
Webbo Posted 4 January 2010 Author Posted 4 January 2010 I hope the FA slap a huge ban and fine on the old t*sser for his injury-time comments. You just knew when the final whistle blew that the ref would get the blame. The old w@nker will get away with again though.
lou Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I hope the FA slap a huge ban and fine on the old t*sser for his injury-time comments. Why would they start now? Oh and Gary Neville............. T O S S E R !
Corky Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I hope the FA slap a huge ban and fine on the old t*sser for his injury-time comments. Isn't his ban from the Wiley comments suspended? If it is that will probably be enforced.
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I was quite peeved when we let Kisnorbo go he has his panic moments, his knees are retirement flirtingly dodgy and we do have a fairly convincing defense, Wayne Brown left out the side that is. EDIT: Much as I dislike Leeds you've got to give them this anything that results in the utter humilation of Manchester United as a whole is a good thing.
ousefox Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Just say everyone has beaten Utd at Old Trafford, but Leeds haven't beat Leicester at the Walkers (yet ) Used this today.
z-layrex Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Why were the Leeds fans booing Gary Neville btw?
Hugo Sanchez Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Why were the Leeds fans booing Gary Neville btw? Because he's a cnut. Also hahaha Man Utd EVEN LEICESTER ARE LAUGHING AT YOU
Koke Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Laugh at which United? Hartlepool United? Leeds United? Carlisle United? It's bad enough when people in the media refer Manchester United as "United", but it's even more patronising when normal supporters do it. Same with Man City being refers to City as if it is unique to them only.

Same with Man City being refers to City as if it is unique to them only. Wether you like it or not when the majority refer to United, people think of Manchester United. I don't think people are saying it's unique to them only, it's just an abbreviated way of saying a teams name and with Man Utd constantly winning trophies they are the most mentioned United in the media hence why they are most commonly referred to as United. It's hardly rocket science. It doesn't bother me in the slightest that people refer Man City as City. I would be embarrassed if I felt patronised or gave two shits about how other people refer to a teams name. So petty.

And I can understand our resident Leeds fan who made that point not so long ago that Man Utd are not the only United in the country - it's annoying.
BoneDog Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 Just been up the local playin darts with some Leeds fan. We had a right frickin laugh about yesterday's game at Old Trafford He is praying that they sign Gradel. He loves the lad. And he loves Patrick. He talks sense. EDIT : I thrashed him at darts mind. Double 5 for the match. Missed me favourite double 10, came inside on dart 3

And I can understand our resident Leeds fan who made that point not so long ago that Man Utd are not the only United in the country - it's annoying. But the point is people aren't referring to Man Utd as if their the only united in the country. It's just an abbreviated version of their name. And like I said, due to their continuous success they happen to be the most recongnisable United FACT. I think your reading to much into it. Next you'll be complaining that we shouldn't refer to Leicester city as just Leicester as it's ignoring tigers and the riders.
BoneDog Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 does he nick women's underwear though ? http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.ph...0&start=240 Now I've seen a close-up I gotta say he doesn't look like my cousin! My cousin is just your average speccy geezer. Defo doesn't rob drawers either Although I myself have stolen womens clothes off a washing-line. I was locked out of home one night when I was still at school. I never got home for my 1am deadline and had to sleep on the concrete which was freezing. So naturally I went looking for cardboard or something and found that some silly mare had left one of her blouses on her washing-line at 3 in the morn. So I thought 'that pissers got my name on it', jumped the fence and wrapped up Still never got any sleep but I was 0.003 degrees warmer than I would of been

Tigers and Riders are different sports. We are the only Leicester in the game of football. Bristol City hate when they are refereed as Bristol only. Same goes for Sheffield Wednesday/Sheffield United. Try and and refer Forest as "Nottingham" only and see the reaction you get from them. Same goes for Man City. It just annoys me sitting there watching Lee Dixon bang on about City this City that, when they are playing Stoke CITY. Either way, it's not something I'm outraged about. It's just slowly becoming a pet peeve of mine.

Same applies with the Sheffield and Nottingham teams. My example of tigers and riders wasn't the best but the point I'm making is it's just an abbreviated name almost like a nickname. I'm sure most fans of teams ending with city refer to their club as just city but for whatever reasons Man city have have become the most famous team referred to as city in England. Man utd are obviously the most famous United due to their continuous success. I can understand why it's a minor irritation to yourself but I just don't buy into all this conspiracy that people refer to these teams by their second namesake intentionally as if they deserve the name more than other teams. It's just something which has happened over time and is part of football culture. We don't want political correctness to start intervening with football.
Edmund Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I agree with Kareem. Why does that not surprise me. You'd probably complain if Leicester had the wrong shade of white on the shirt.
