Floating Fox Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 Wooooooooooooooooo!Let's all laugh at the best team in Europe. Who's laughing at Bayern?
Bert Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 Who's laughing at Bayern? I will be when they crash out against Barcelona. Bayern are nowhere near up to United's standards. Not at the minute anyway. Not even top of their own domestic league.
ASH17LCFC Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 I for some reason can't hate Utd. I like Arsenal more then any team after Leicester but i always hated Liverpool.Even though Man Utd made me cry back in 1999. I don't hate them, i hate Liverpool.

Samilktray Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 Im shocked German football has been brought up in another thread.
\o/ Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 It's funny because they are the best team in the world, and the best team in the world lost to Fulham.

Uncle Albert Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 All this bollocks about best team in the World, bore off. Sao Paolo beat a Liverpool team who could only finish 5th in the Premier League when they got to the final, so would people of said they were the best in the world? No they wouldnt. Man Utd are good for one thing and that was for bring Ronaldo to the Premier League apart from that they are aload of Cunts and the biggest Tit in football in Alex Ferguson. I so hope Liverpool win the League and Champs League and Chelsea win the F.A Cup, would be funny especially after all the talk about 5 trophies this season.

Man Utd aren't THE best team in the world, but admittedly are one of them. The likes of Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus etc...will all be up there as being one of the best in the World too. Agreed also in the hope that Liverpool win the league and the Champs League (if not, Barca). Would like Arsenal to win the FA Cup .
Samilktray Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 The only teams I'd consider the best in the world are Yanited and Arsenal, maybe Barca too. Purely for the football they play, but also for Man Utds dominance over the years.
Uncle Albert Posted 25 March 2009 Posted 25 March 2009 I think the best team in the Premier League is the team that has bagged the most goals to be honest which to me shows they are the most attacking in the League and last time I looked that was Liverpool. Fox Forever I wouldnt personally say Juventus are up there with the best in the World but thats you. If I was picking 3 teams at this minute in time I would say Inter, United and Liverpool personally.

Arsenal and Barcelona play the best football in Europe, probably the world. When these two sides are on song, it's an absolute joy to watch on nobody can even get close to touching them. Sublime.

Is this the same Arsenal side who are so blindingly good that their trophy count in the last three seasons reads precisely ZERO? Even Spurs have done better than that!
BoneDog Posted 26 March 2009 Posted 26 March 2009 United wouldn't of been so dominant over the years without the help of countless refs and linesman. I don't know if it still goes on (I refuse to watch them nowadays like Ferguson mardily refuses to talk to certain TV/media) but refs used to just keep playing deep into injury time until they scored. Not just 5 or 6 times, every pissin time they were losing or drawing. Refs also used to stone cold refuse to award any away team a penalty at Old Trafford. If these things weren't the case they would have lost quite a few points in a number of seasons and maybe not won so many trophies. I know they have lots of quality players but that has nothing to do with having to like them or not. Some of em are class blokes like Giggs and Scholes, but too many of em are just mardy big-headed bastards who can't take defeat and think they are special or more deserving than any other team to win games. They probably get that off their manager I don't care how good they are, I can't stand em. Love Giggs though.

I love the way they reacted when Rooney got sent off at Fulham. Watch a replay and see how many arms go flailing about in frustration. It's child-like how mad they get when things don't go their way.
