Webbo Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 It just gets better. After last week's thrashing by Liverpool, ManUre go down 2-0 to Fulham, yes Fulham, Rooney and Scholes sent off as well. LINK.
Matt Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Out of all of the 'top 4', United would be my choice, if I had to pick, it's still quite funny though
syston_fox Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 I swear the cheer at the Walkers today for the United score was louder than when we scored which is quite a concern!
Matt Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 I swear the cheer at the Walkers today for the United score was louder than when we scored which is quite a concern! I did noticed that myself. Are we MK Dons in disguise or something?
Samilktray Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Yeah lets laugh at the best team in the world. Good one.
syston_fox Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 I did noticed that myself. Are we MK Dons in disguise or something? I've never understood the cheers of other results at the walkers: Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal lose and people cheer. If they're playing each other, people cheer no matter who wins. Do people care that much about the big four which, lets not forget, are two divisions above us and dont give a shite about us!

Similar to how the loudest chants tend to be directed at the officials...
Asha Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Similar to how the loudest chants tend to be directed at the officials... It's a bit annoying how even with a right decision against us, nearly the whole kop stands up and vents it's frustration. Although the ref was a bit shit today, the officials really can't win either way.

I had to laugh at one point when the Kop really tore into the linesman for flagging Hayles offside and singing "you don't know what you're doing" despite the fact that Hayles was a good yard or two offside when the ball was played.
Matt Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Yeah it does annoy me when fans get on the back of the officials when they do make a right decision yet they still say "Ah fook off that wasn't offside" when it quite clearly was, Just hold your hands up and admit it FFS. That said todays officials were awful.
fox123 Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Fair play to Fulham, Roy Hodgson has done a fantastic job there, as for Man Utd, I can't really laugh at them. Been the best team by far for the last two seasons, Ferguson has a great blend of youth and experience, and his tactics 9 times out of 10 are pretty much spot on.
Webbo Posted 23 March 2009 Author Posted 23 March 2009 Rather them than Liverpool, that's for sure. I'd rather Forest or Derby than United.
lcfc_jme Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Only reason this result made me smile is 'cos I got to mock all of the plastic Yanited fans that live with me at uni.. The kind of Yanited fans who never go to games yet seem to think Fergie should be sacked for their last 2 results. !
StanSP Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 This is what I really hate about Fergie: The Guardian quotes Ferguson as saying about Scholes's dismissal for deliberate handball, two yards from the United goal: "He could have easily not given it. But it's Phil Dowd, so what do you expect?" It's not just the Guardian, apparently it's several newspapers. Why can't he just admit for once that the referee made the right decision?! Surely he has to be fined or charged for comments like that. Any other manager would get done by the FA, and so should he.
Floating Fox Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 Even the guy I work with (He's from Iraq) was delighted with this. I think everybody hates 'em

Man U is a proper football club, when they won the European cup again last season they had Bobby Charlton collect it THAT is pure class! Who would Chelsea sent up there? Kerry Dixon? Timewasters
