Tielemans63 Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 How good is David Silva? Best player in the league? I think he is. Definitely agree with you - the guy is sheer class. I've got a tenner on him being player of the year.
Yojoe36 Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 that wasn't the scum fans it was Citeh, chanting it ironically after scum did in the 0-0 draw last year. Hate scum, don't think I'e ever laughed so hard as when that sixth goal went in. oh
Amin Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Let's not go overboard on this. It's stii been a crap weekend for us. But I hope the Glazers get another hiding at Wembley this evening. Does that mean we have to lie in our beds all day crying into our pillow?
Corky Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 oh The City fans were chanting it ironically, like we used to under O'Neill.
Ashley Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Taken from the William: "Ten William Hill Clients bet on the score line 6-1 Man City win with odds at 500/1. The biggest stake was £3, this making a £1,500 profit. WOW
HEGGSY Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 lol never laughed so much, to top it off Chelsea lost at QPR after having to players sent off
Haydos Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 I've always like Man City, and seeing them DESTROY Utd was quality. I couldn't help but laugh when the Utd fans chanted "Boring Boring City" Man Utd are THE most depressing team I know. Eh? Why?
FoxyPV Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Work will be interesting tomorrow as I work with three Man U fans, a Leeds fan, a Gooner and a Man C fan. It's a pity we couldn't have won too
somebum Posted 23 October 2011 Posted 23 October 2011 Watching that game today was honestly one of the greatest games I have ever witnessed. I have waited for YEARS to see Manure get a hammering at OT and today was just beautiful in every way. Silva is immense.
Webbo Posted 28 January 2012 Author Posted 28 January 2012 Could this be the season United finish without a trophy.
a_k_b Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 Could this be the season United finish without a trophy. I'd like to think so. Although you can never rule them out of anything. Europa league maybe?
Ultra Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 Could this be the season United finish without a trophy. No, more likely to be league title number 20. Wheels are already starting to fall off at Eastlands, and once United players come back from injury, they'll be stronger.
SystonFox Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 No, more likely to be league title number 20. Wheels are already starting to fall off at Eastlands, and once United players come back from injury, they'll be stronger. Complete waffle They'll win nothing, maybe a sniff of the Europey league but come on they aren't winning the league this term. Ballotelli to lift that trophy on the last day
Ultra Posted 28 January 2012 Posted 28 January 2012 How many Man City players have expeience of Premier title campaigns? When the pressure really comes during March/April, do you really think their nerve will hold? Balotelli will kick off on an away ground somewhere and pick up another long ban.
whoareyaaa Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Once toure is back Man City will storm it again. guys a beast!
Fox92 Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Once toure is back Man City will storm it again. guys a beast! Yes he is. I always thought he was a holding man, but he is fantastic at going forward.
Finnegan Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 How many Man City players have expeience of Premier title campaigns? When the pressure really comes during March/April, do you really think their nerve will hold? Balotelli will kick off on an away ground somewhere and pick up another long ban. I hate bollocks arguments like this. Eden Dzeko is a league winner with Wolfsburg, Kompany is a two time league winner with domestic cup honours, Balotelli is already a three time league winner, Kolo Toure's won the Prem, Hargreaves has won FIVE league titles for two clubs, three domestic cup competitions and the Champions League twice. David Silva is a World Cup and European Championship winner, De Jong is a league and cup winner, Yaya Toure has won two Spanish league titles, the Champions League, the Club World Cup, The Spanish Cup and both domestic and European super cups for possibly the best team to ever exist. Do I need to go on? Seriously? Because I can, I mean there's more, not least the manager with three league and five domestic cup wins under his belt already in a relatively short career. Man City have flaws as a squad, they've been expensively assembled at fairly short notice whilst key components of this United side have been together for years. That's the difference, sure, and it may tell come May. But to imply that this Man City team are inexperienced or don't know how to win? ****ing retarded. You don't need experience specifically of "the Premier League." There's nothing special or unique about our league, it's just one of countless top tiers in Europe. These guys are winners, plain and simple.
My only Leicester! Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Once toure is back Man City will storm it again. guys a beast! Yeah and kompany has been out an he's been just about their best player this season. Man city to win the league by a mile. Fergie hasn't bought well for the past few seasons now and how he rates jonny Evans I'll never know?!
Corky Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 How many Man City players have expeience of Premier title campaigns? When the pressure really comes during March/April, do you really think their nerve will hold? Balotelli will kick off on an away ground somewhere and pick up another long ban. How many Chelsea players had the experience before they did (and back-to-back)? Man Utd are a poorer side compared to previous years. They'll do very well to overhaul City.
Darkon84 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Theres still a LONG way to go, but consdering all the injuries they've had and with probably the weakest squad they've had for an absolute age, they're still joint top. Write them off at your peril....though I would like to see Spurs gatecrash the top two, though I doubt it will happen. Not fussed about Chelsea, but Liverpool and Arsenal can both fook right off, cant stand either of them
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 We won as many trophies as Manchester United this season (apart from that Community Shield). And I'll add; hahahahahahahahaha...
