The Doctor Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 How many Man City players have expeience of Premier title campaigns? When the pressure really comes during March/April, do you really think their nerve will hold? Balotelli will kick off on an away ground somewhere and pick up another long ban. Just gonna draw your attention to this here - develop a special ability to get calls wrong while you were in office?

Jon the Hat Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 well done. Takes someone really big to say 'told you so' Meh. If you are going to call things as certainties rather than your view of what will probably happen then expect to get called on it. Lots of us thought they might bottle it, and an 8 point gap looked impossible. Wasn't thought was it!
accessory Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Plenty of class on display from the usual suspects. Clearly, it should have been obvious to all that Vincent Kompany's successes and battle-hardened experience in that well-renowned, formidable powerhouse of world football, the Belgian League, was always going to render his attempts to lift the Premier league crown a mere formality. Seriously, though, anyone who truly believed, after his side's abject defeat at Arsenal last month, that Mancini could rouse his side to win the next six games and claim the title, has gifts that are probably wasted on a lower-league club's forum like this one. United fans will indeed be hurting after yesterday. But it could have been worse for them. Imagine if the scousers had won the league in such circumstances. Or perhaps not. Maybe there isn't enough LSD in the world for imagination to stretch that far.
Guest MattP Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 Best 5 mins I've seen, the Sunderland Poznan was brilliant.
Out Foxed Posted 14 May 2012 Posted 14 May 2012 they won it on goal difference against an injury raved man u team and an arsenal and chelsea team that pretty much played half a season. let's not carried away. they should have blitzed the league with the amount of money invested.
