thought he looked decent.

first couple of touches were a bit suspect, but the lad has defo got confidence (something we're very much lacking in right now).

the two corners he took were spot on, well placed & showed Oakley up.

he wanted the ball, wanted to work, wanted to succeed.

fair play, hopefully he can help us out in the run in.

Good analysis!

Seemed to want to take his time, which can be a good thing or bad thing, depending on circumstances.

Passing, movement and attitude suggests he has a part to play..

Skillful and confident, looked like he wanted the ball and to pass it, but seemed slightly slow.

I think he's used to Liverpool style movement as well, when he had time and space and was looking for a pass, there was no-one to pass to due to the lack of runs.

Was quite impressed. He was always asking for the ball from our defenders and then looking to play the ball to feet. Shielded the ball well too. From what I saw he might be just what we need for the run-in. He adds (or tries to add) a different dimension to our game and other teams will struggle to cope with that - I hope.

Erm. Because he had long hair? :dunno:

And he tried irrelevant tricks and didn't really do anything. I'm not gonna have a go until we've properly seen him yet.

I think he changed the game further in our favour when he came on. Put his foot on the ball and thought about where he was going to put it rather than just hoofing it. Wanted the ball as well and allowed Oakley to get out on the right.

Well I think the general consensus is that he did ok. Sounds like someone who wants the ball which has been lacking just recently. Lets hope he can push on from this and help us secure championship status.

He didn't do anything particularly special on the ball, but it's his movement and desire off the ball that impressed me. He always wanted it. If there was a throw-in or corner, he either wanted to take it or wanted it played to him. He always had his hands in the air calling for the ball, and in open play he was always trying to give whoever was on the ball an option. I like that. Whether he was simply doing this to make a good impression on his debut I don't know. I would be even more impressed if he kept that up week after week.

I thought he looked OK showed some signs of promise and at least kept the ball on the ground. Far too early to call of course but certainly wasnt "shit" Hes bound to take a while to get used to our style of play. Give the lad a chance.

I thought he was alright, seemed quite confident and was willing to go forward. If anyone else was watching the warm up, he looked like he's got a fairly decent shot on him too.

I thought he looked like a very decent player, someone that could actually open up a defence instead of just knocking a long ball towards Stevie's head.

Just looks like an arrogant bastard.

But I'm sure we could learn to love him.

reminded me of berger who played for liverpool seemed a bit nervous at first but then settled down & looked like he likes to play it on the deck may be our saving grace let him take over from oakley taking the corners & free kicks

yes, clumsy. looks like the sort who will want to do 3 step overs before playing the easy ball to me, but he's played 20 mins so lets give him a chance

Interesting.

Are you a player or is this a slip?

Well he outdid oakley with corners, Played some good passes all of which found one of our players, showed some skills and offered himself for other players to pass to. And as it has already been said, in the warm up he showed himself to have a good shot.

I wonder y pool are so desperate to get rid of him?
