Wycombe Fox Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Up early for this one today! Can't wait for this game to start - if only to stop geting ****ing texts from LCFC telling me that there's only a few tickets left! I'd better not be charged for them. They carried on sending them even after I'd sent 'OUT' to the number specified. I'm not going! I'm going to Southend for the Roots Hall Promotion Party!! C'mon City
Monk Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I'm going so we probably won't win. Dammit James why do you have to spoil it for everyone!
Matt Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 C'mon Citeh! Please. Let's fooking hammer em'. Another one of these would be lurvely! WE ALL HATE LEEDSCUM...
20mj08 Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 haha happy days!! wouldnt mind another one like that but in all fairness i can see this being a close game 1 or 2 goals will be the winning margin. first goal needed for once. C'MON CITY !!!!
ronnup Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 today will be massive, and although nothing will make up for the heartache felt at the Wednesday game last season, this is a chance to blow the roof off and show some heart. It could be beautiful. Come on lads
Ultra Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Radio Leicester is going mental about this game. Let's hope we win. not least so that Bristol Rovers can seal promotion for us against Franchise. That would be a massive irony, given the role two notable gasheads (Holloway and Pulis) played in our demise last season.
Daggers Posted 13 April 2009 Author Posted 13 April 2009 I am trembling. Seriously. The prospect of a match without alcohol must be to blame. Right...crash helmet?...bike jacket?...charged mobile?...I'm ready. E I E I E I O Off to Leicestershire I go!
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I haven't felt such excitement for a game at home this season as much as this in a long time. Sure, some of the games at home this season have been good, but it's more a case of 'who is it we're turning up against this week?' rather than 'it's *****, let's stuff 'em'.
Ultra Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Except that in some recent home games, the team hasn't turned up. I'm sure they will today, though. I wonder if the Leeds full-backs slept last night?
Poakey Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Im more exited about this then the boxing day clash, cant wait.Get Sky + ready to REC and I'm off. Come on Blues!!!
Bryn Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Head's saying a draw. We never seem to do amazingly on Sky but never disastrously either. Plus I think it's hard to pick a favourite from the two sides, I think it'll be tight, 1-1.
mmarkie Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 And if some twat tells me to sit down, there dead!! OOOO ARD MAN
Ajax Treesdown Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 C'MON CITY!!! Do us proud with a win and lets leave this division on a HIGH!!!!
Pegosteve Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Looking forward to watching the game on the telly. Not nearly as nervous as Saturday as to lose would not be a total disaster. I honestly believe 1 more point will seal promotion I even think we already there.
Lillehamring Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 just getting ready for the pub - tempted to stay in the pub all day to see the results come in later, but with two hours sleep and five bricks a pint, i might just come back and have a promotion party here...
act smiley Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I was to dwell on how I WOULD LOVE IT, LOVE IT if we beat them.... It would make my week, it would make the season, it would shut their little gobs... ok they got to me and wound me up... but oh it so would.Bring it on! but dont you remember, Leeds try harder against big teams... can definitely see a draw coming, myself.
Lisburn Fox Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 C,mon City am off to the pub in Lisburn with 5 Leeds fans and me the solitary blue, I would love to make their day sh*t. All I have heard for the last week is that they are on fire, heres hoping they crash & burn. 1 - 0 scrappy win will do me.
leftsideoverhere Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 C,mon City am off to the pub in Lisburn with 5 Leeds fans and me the solitary blue, I would love to make their day sh*t. All I have heard for the last week is that they are on fire, heres hoping they crash & burn. 1 - 0 scrappy win will do me. Waiting for the bus and I'm bouncing already. Sky sports news this morning just kept running "Leicester will be promoted if... " in their strapline. While I'd prefer it if the promotion issue isn't settled until we beat Southend on Saturday I really want to see us silence the once-mighty Leeds. Hope the players are as up for it as I am. Jump up for the champions!
DeclanMC Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Is it just me who feels embarrased when they play songs like noah and the whale pre-match?
