davieG Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 From OS Leicester City supporters will be able to see their side lift the League One trophy following the S****horpe United match at the Walkers Stadium on Friday, April 24.
Nugent Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 I suppose they will present it facing the West Stand won't they. <_<
City Lad Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 It'll be interesting to see who actually lifts the cup, Oakley or Clemence? Technically I suppose it should be Clem but he ain't played a game all year while Oakleys been a major part of the team and a good captain.
samjohnson Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Id love it to be facing the KOP where most of the season ticket holders are... The fans have been a major part of this campaign.
DB11 Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Id love it to be facing the KOP where most of the season ticket holders are... The fans have been a major part of this campaign. And I'd love it to face the Family Stand But it ain't gonna happen. It'll face the exec boxes and the VIP seats where Mandaric and co. go.
samjohnson Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Milan should join us on the Kop. He would have a great time

Ultra Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 At last, the team can parade a trophy in a meaningful lap of honour.
C-man Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 Looking forward to this. Pearson and Oakley should lift it togther, but NP wouldn't allow that. Sweepstake on who will drop it first? Gradel.
Sods Posted 19 April 2009 Posted 19 April 2009 I can't wait for Chris Powell to whack out his guns and lift the trophy.
Craig Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Looking forward to this. Pearson and Oakley should lift it togther, but NP wouldn't allow that. Sweepstake on who will drop it first? Gradel. I'm going for Stockdale
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Am i right in saying to get a medal you would've hhad to have played 10 times??? If so the following get a medal: Fryatt, King, Oakley, Dyer, Howard, Hobbs, Gilbert, Morrison, Martin, Mattock, Berner, Tunchev, Gradel, Powell, Cleverley, Dickov (4 + 15 sub appearances!), Adams & Hayles (1 + 9 sub). The following are on 8 or 9 (leaving two games left of the season to get a meda) total appearances: Brown 8 & Kisnorbo 8. So if some can get medals after Crewe on the last game of the season Brown and Kisnorbo will probably play in both gamnes left.
morris1234 Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Milan should join us on the Kop. He would have a great time lets face it, we may not have the loudest kop but you do have a good time!
morris1234 Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 oh and about the medals,. i think the club is given 21 medals and if there are a few spare then those who came close to 10 games can get them also.
AmericanScott Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Anyone reckon there will be like a parade in town or anything?
The Doctor Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 It'll be interesting to see who actually lifts the cup, Oakley or Clemence? Technically I suppose it should be Clem but he ain't played a game all year while Oakleys been a major part of the team and a good captain. clem will hobble in with his crutches, cripple oakley as he is about to lift the cup, pick it up himself, drop the crutches and run off proving that he wasn't injured at all. the trophy will appear on ebay the following day.
Guest ttfn Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 It's a shame it's a trophy rather than a cup. I'd love to see Gradel and Gilbert (because it would definitely be them) wearing the lid as a hat
