It aint really much posting is it.

And why not? Am I not allowed here or something?

Ignore.

You've probably been to more Leicester matches than him anyway.

Not much posting.. lol, 800 posts on another team's forum is a lot.. more than that MK fan who harrased us last summer.

Odd to go all defensive aswell though.

I would say that's a huge incentive to play well for the last couple of games. But how many of their players are still going to be there next season?

They are massively fucked.

None hopefully - with the exception of Davies! They are all shocking.

We never beat Southampton  Glad at this to be honest always awful games too. JME will be creaming himself at this news. :giggle:

Our record at St Marys is shocking. One shot on target in the last dozen of visits. I'm glad we don't have to go there in the foreseeable future.

The Pompey fan I know is going mental with happiness on facebook...

Glad they've gone down though. No interest in visiting their place next year whatsoever.

I don't know why the skate is laughing for. From what I hear they aren't that far away from a financial melt down themselves,

Desperate situation for Southampton, but sacking Pearson after he kept them up with no money and no confidence in the squad was asking for trouble. The chances are that a couple of their players will find their way to the Walkers, and this will impact negatively on Southampton in League One. If the 10 point deduction is suspended till next season then I can see little but a struggle for Southampton next season. If their finances worsen and they lose too many players, they could very easily go into freefall.

Pearson wasn't sacked - c**t face lowes didn't renew his contract. The players that really performed under Pearson last season were Euell, John and a number of loan players. You are more than welcome to Euell - infact let me know if you want him - I'll drive him up there myself!

Does Saganowski still play for them :dunno:

He would be a tasty signing indeed, not sure how old he is now though.

Weren't we linked with him last season. I think he's quality.

I wouldn't go has far as saying he still "play(s)" for us - he does still turn up on match day and runs around like a headless chicken in the red and white of Saints. If you want him as well, i can drop him off with mule, sorry Euell!

You can drive Surman up here if you want? :)

The days of Leicester City buying overpaid shit players has been and will hopefully continue to be a thing of the past. The only person who believes that names are better than performances is Mandick, with his signings of Dickov N'Gotty Clememce etc. Your club would do well to look to its good youth players and spot some decent talent in the lower leagues.

That's what's partly screwed them this season, no?

It's quite shocking where the money from Walcott, Baird, Jones, Bale etc have all disappeared.

And the fact that they were only relegated from the Premiership in 2005 too.

Joe I don't really give a rats ass :giggle: Just hope we are a few places above the relegation zone this time next year which is by no means an easy task with our current squad.

I am having some fun annoying a couple of Southampton fans who annoyed me at the end of last season :) I am quite glad they are down but I cant help but to think that us going down when we did could be a blessing in disguise, that is if going down was practically inevitable. Next season could include Norwich/Forest/Barnsley, plus it will include Charlton, Southampton and maybe Leeds.

Thats a pretty tough league in my opinion! Thank god City went up this season!

Oh and with a 10 point deduction, Southampton dont look like they will bounce back first time, which would also mean it is likely they will rot for a while.

Serves them right for contributing to send us down and getting the bloody treble over us last season!

Good Times!!

Only downside is that it is one less easy away game for me to get to next season :(

It is quite sad isn't it?

To see a big side releagted to the third thier of English football. [+ Charlton and maybe Norwich]

I hope they win promotion next year.

They didn't really contribute to our relegation, they just did what they had to and won. Surely it was Nigel Pearson not Southampton Football Club?

...and they were in the top flight for 20 odd years and they didn't contribute to that either - one of the dullest teams in the world, glad to see them tumble.
