Dan Posted 4 July 2009 Posted 4 July 2009 Lallana would be a cracking signing. Saganowski would be decent if he can hit form and I have never seen Schneiderlin play so I can't comment. Lallana would be quality to be fair, (and he also shares mine and Howards birthday (sad to know this stuff)) Saganowski like you said if Pearson can get the best out of him like he has done with many of our players he would be a top signing, look up Wolves 0-6 Southampton Morgan Shneiderlin I have never seen play but FM (I know its a game and they are not 100% accurate) makes him out as one of the best youngsters in the world, they do make their mistakes but have been quite accurate with the majority of the players IMO, but the fact Southampton payed £1.2mil for him at the age of 18 suggests he could be a top player for the future, also the fact that hes France U19's captain says something to me, would be available at a knock down price but I really don't know what to think, all the signs point to quality player but no-ones ever seen him play.

Salieri Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Collins-John is a free agent.... Rather dig John Collins out of retirement and stick him up front.

peteski Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 What about Bradley-Wright Phillips? Seeing as he won't want to play for Soton anymore? yeah i like the sound of that signing but will it happen
Mort Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Surprised not to have heard about more signings in the Hobbs. Gilbert, Stockdale mould (promising younger players from Prem teams), early days yet, but at what stage last season did we make most of our loan signings?

Gilbert, Stockdale mould (promising younger players from Prem teams), early days yet, but at what stage last season did we make most of our loan signings? Gilbert was the first, Hobbs was late July, and martin was early August if I remember rightly. I think it's a case of clubs monitoring their players early on, as they will train as one big squad, then when it gets closer to the start of the season and they break off into reserves and first team then they are happy to let their players go. Cleverly will probably come I would have thought and Stockdale, that probably leaves two more strikers (assuming we get Wellens)
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Also should we not be trying to sign Billy Sharp? or is he not available?

dandannieldanok Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Also should we not be trying to sign Billy Sharp? or is he not available? I wouldn't want us to sign him. Not based on his ability or anything, just the fact that he is a cheating ****.
David Guiza Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 I wouldn't want us to sign him. Not based on his ability or anything, just the fact that he is a cheating ****. The peno at Brammael Lane <_< .
Soar Fox Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Andy Gray ( Charlton ) Gary McSheffrey Nathan Delfouneso
Mansfield Fox Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Robbie Savage anyone? Mark Bunn Brian Stock Daniel Fox George Boyd Tommy Spurr
StanSP Posted 18 July 2009 Posted 18 July 2009 Robbie Savage anyone? Mark Bunn Brian Stock Daniel Fox George Boyd Tommy Spurr I very much doubt DOncaster will sell another midfielder to us. He's a good player, but I think they'll be trying their utmost to keep him.
tartanowl Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 Also should we not be trying to sign Billy Sharp? or is he not available? He has failed twice in the Championship. Why would you want him? He's available and United would sell but they will want some of the £2m back that they spent on him. Robbie Savage anyone? Mark Bunn Brian Stock Daniel Fox George Boyd Tommy Spurr Our Tommy is going nowhere!
