morris1234 Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 has paul gallagher made a move yet? looked too good for plymouth last season, i know he was linked with them again but i dont know where hes at now.....?
Dan Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Simeon Jackson is our only real hope up front for a goalscorer tbh unless we spend ridiculous money, this could be a non-starter but Ross McCormack apparently said if his move to Hull fell through he would still move to another Championship club.

Don't start it then. It is clearly not going to happen.
tartanowl Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 What about Billy Sharp, hes just been put on the transfer list at Sheff Utd. Hes a nice little striker who scored 20+ goals for S****horpe 2 seasons ago just hasn't been given his proper chance at Sheff. Probably get him for around the 1mill mark. Personally id still prefer Leroy Lita but a Big targetman has to be on the list !! Sharp Transfer 8 goals in 51 league games in 2 seasons. He has been given a chance and he's shit! Trust me you don't want him! Brian Laws is a fan as someone else has said in this thread but he knows he would get crucified by the fans for signing a Sheffield United supporting Sheffield United player for Wednesday. They worked together at S****horpe where he scored his goals that is why he likes him. The Blunts are desperate to get rid and would probably accept less than 1 mill. From what I've heard they are trying to do a cash + Sharp swap for Beckford at Leeds. He is a definite lower league player. Not good enough for this league.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 If we're basing it on what he did at Leicester, didn't he play 2 games? Whilst he made a good penalty save at Brovers, he let in a pretty standard 30 yard shot against MK. Superb has got to be overstating the point He saved a penalty and he's a legend? He was adequate yes, but he wasn't that good. I've seen him a hell of a lot for Northampton, he will be a top-end Championship keeper for many years to come, regardless of what he did here.
CosbehFox Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Lauri Dalla Valla, liverpool youth kid, got ability and potential, might be worth a 6 month loan as back up if all else fails, though I'd prefer Nemeth I watched L'pool XI on Friday night. Not a single player stood out bar Nemeth who got injured after 25 minutes. He saved a penalty and he's a legend? He was adequate yes, but he wasn't that good. He was good and will be good. He had an aura about him, his communication was superb and his attitude was spot on. He went nuts at Dons when we scored both times esp. after a feck-up and he was very, very unlucky with the second.
morris1234 Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 bunn gone to sheff united on months loan. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/8180977.stm
Brainy Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 It is clearly not going to happen. Could be said about most things in here.
Nick Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Mark Bunns gone Sheff Utd for a months loan. I'd like Pearson to give Rafa a call: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krisztián_Németh Edit: Apolgies - just noticed I'm not the first to mention this lad....or even the second........
dandannieldanok Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 has paul gallagher made a move yet? looked too good for plymouth last season, i know he was linked with them again but i dont know where hes at now.....? Well remembered, I kept mentioning his name at the start of the summer but have completely forgotten about him since. Don't think he's gone anywhere, would be a cracking signing for us.
Shane Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Jay Simpson & Nathan Delfonso on loan. I could see this happening to be honest.. with the MON link, and how Wenger said he would be happy to loan us some players..
bluefox82 Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Personally i think we should sign Kris Commons. I had the misfortune of going to watch Derby a few times last year and every time i saw him he was awesome. We could do with somone like that just behind howard and fryatt who can create a chance in the blink of an eye

StanSP Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Jay Simpson & Nathan Delfonso on loan. I could see this happening to be honest.. with the MON link, and how Wenger said he would be happy to loan us some players.. Did he say he wanted to loan US some players, or send out players on loan to get first-team football. Did he specifically say Leicester?
Shane Posted 4 August 2009 Posted 4 August 2009 Did he say he wanted to loan US some players, or send out players on loan to get first-team football.Did he specifically say Leicester? I believe he said he liked the way our youth-academy is run and he'd be willing to send some of his youngsters on loan to here..
