Jay Simpson ST/RW (on loan) nicky hunt - highly doubt it sam ricketts - maybe, not if hull come down michael ball - perhaps jonathan grounds - possible but dont know much about him jermain pennant - no chance stephen kelly - perhaps if brum go up. jay simpson - another perhaps. just my view anyway. what do you all think about signing a tall, battling centre mid? if you look at it our midfield is a quite a small one in height and strength and i think for those days where king and oakley cant get the ball down, whether it is a bad pitch or bad weather or the opposition have a solid midfield, then this type of player would be of use. any suggestions, the likes of gavin mahon have been mentioned before?

Jason Brown - if we do not sign Stockdale/Martin/a goalkeeper. Good at this level isn't he? I am sure he played for Gillingham. Nicky Hunt Ricardo Vaz Te Hilario Miroslav Stoch - nice winger. Not sure he is a 'first teamer' yet though. Giles Barnes Julian Gray - it says set to reject and look for first team football. Good player for Coventry and Birmingham the other year. How many wingers did Fulham buy and not play, Gray, Cook, Barnes etc Micheal Ball Danny Mills David Edgar - it says, club monitering form. So, possibly released. Good player he looks like. Then again, another defender isn't it. Jerome Thomas Stephen Kelly - Surely Birmingham do not want him. Theres my suggestions from that site. Might be abit over the top though.

Yes, thats why I wanted that Seyi Olifinia (spelling mistake) years ago when he was at Wolves. Not sure, I don't know that many. Is Zheng Zhi a big lad? Fairly big isn't he?

However, we're lacking a bit on both the left and the right side. Gilbert and even Mattock have done well so far, but I'd love to see two good additional outside defenders join our club as a re-inforcement for next season, hence Hunt, Ball et al.

morris1234 Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 agreed, thats why im a bit stumped by sam ricketts. hes a good player and plays well for hull but it depends. if hull come down then no, but if they stay up then as all clubs do in their second season they try and improve the squad quality more by releasing shall we say decent players, or decent when it comes to prem quality. that matthew bates is out of contract aswell, he is brilliant. but we have tunchev!
