Jimmy Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Southampton are hardly in a position to ask for that much. Surman will be gone somewhere in the Championshi this season I'm sure, whether it's with us or not remains to be seen. Hopefully the Pearson link works in our favour. they are about to get bought out Charlie Adam, on loan at Blackpool from Rangers, plays left wing or central, decent deadball player too, with Rangers financial woes, shouldn't be too high a fee either
Super Arj Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 surely Mark Yeates he must be bored of league 1 by now... and he's developed a lot since he was last here.. we need a player who can take on his man... and take set peices.. won't be too expensive either... worth a punt???
JoeyB Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 He will be quiet expensive, is Col U's best player and earlier on in the season was being touted as a 1M player.

He was shit when we had him here, yes he takes a good free-kick, but I think he's found his level.
Joe. Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 He was shit when we had him here, yes he takes a good free-kick, but I think he's found his level. Possibly, I think he's been like Dyer this season from what I've heard. Shows flashes of greateness but is ultimately way too inconsistent. I'd say Lloyd's found his level at League One too to be honest.

True, it's good that Lloyd can skin League 1 defenders inside out but next season, with much better defenders against him and his Mr. Inconsistant performances he could struggle bigtime.
granger Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 andrew surman at southampton sammy clighan at norwich nick bailey at charlton
Father Ted Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 He was shit when we had him here, yes he takes a good free-kick, but I think he's found his level. To be fair, he never was shit here, neither was Kelvin Etuhu. I would certainly take Mark Yeates back. Jimmy: Charlie Adam is from Liverpool
Brainy Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Kelvin Davies isn't what he used to be. David Marshall please.
Jimmy Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 To be fair, he never was shit here, neither was Kelvin Etuhu. I would certainly take Mark Yeates back. Jimmy: Charlie Adam is from Liverpool erm no he ain't, born in Aberdeen plays for Rangers Charlie Adam
Father Ted Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 erm no he ain't, born in Aberdeen plays for Rangers Charlie Adam I'm thinking of Adam Hammill on loan at Barnsley
Guppy Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 Kelvin Davies isn't what he used to be.David Marshall please. He'd be one of the last keepers i'd want here - he doesn't command his area at all, doesn't catch a thing. He's a good shot stopper thought, but you need more than that to succeed, imo. Norwich fans want to see the back of him as well, cost them a lot of points this year, apparently..
Mort Posted 3 May 2009 Posted 3 May 2009 I would certainly take Mark Yeates back. He did have a rotten attitude during his time here... then again most the team did during the dying days of the Kelly regime, so he might react better with a stronger manager.
Rise Against Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Heres a name for ya, Jason Scotland. That would be huge!
Jimmy Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 not sure what's happening with Leroy Lita but he would be a great buy
Dan Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 That would be huge! Surprised no-ones mentioned him tbh, brilliant striker and definately a realistic target.
Joe. Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Surprised no-ones mentioned him tbh, brilliant striker and definately a realistic target. Hardly, considering he's been linked with Fulham amongst other Premiership clubs. He wouldn't be cheap either.
Soar Fox Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 1. Luke Varney 2. Michael Chopra 3. Sammy Clingan 4. Kelvin Davis 5. Nicky Bailey 6. Andrew Surman
Dan Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Hardly, considering he's been linked with Fulham amongst other Premiership clubs. He wouldn't be cheap either. Bloody hell did not know that.
dandannieldanok Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Lloyd Sam? Decent suggestion, wouldn't mind Nicky Bailey either but that's as far as it would go from Charlton.
Salieri Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Decent suggestion, wouldn't mind Nicky Bailey either but that's as far as it would go from Charlton. Jonjo Shelvey would be amazing but looks like he'll probably be Premiership bound...
Koke Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Has anybody mentioned Nicky Bailey from Charlton yet? Edit: dandannieldanok has.
