Cobbo Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 For the first time in several years, is anyone not going to buy this? I canny wait We should find a pub willing to play it and get pished
MC Prussian Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 As long as it's not priced at the regular £29.99 , I'm in.
Jay Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 The last DVD I purchased from the club was that history of Leicester City one a few years ago The last season hightlights I purchased was probably the 1997 one on Video!! call me a glory hunter if you like but I shall be buying this seasons one!! I hope the club realise how many they can shift because I can sense another monumental cock up in the pipeline when they order about 50
Matt Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Think the last one I have is the Championship promotion season under Micky Adams, Mind you I don't think they have done any since have they? Perhaps they didn't think an unsettled team with new players every season but always consistantly shite and full of losers wouldn't sell too good?
Ford Super Sunday Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 The last one they brought out was 05/06... no narration, nothing. 06/07 and 07/08, ok, they weren't great, but I learnt the history of the O'Neill era and the Little era from my Dads VHS season reviews (now all on glorious DVDVDVD :D) I like to document our seasons, and thankfully, becuase I managed to get 99.9% of all of our goals in 07/08 from various sources, it means only the 06/07 season I dont have any media memories of... gutted (except us sacking Kelly and the mandaric takeover) I do so hope they bring one out this season... they reason the scrapped them was becuase they were 'loss making' yeah, thats becuase you printed like 20,000 and expected them all to be sold... they should have been printed to order, or just maybe, you know, order less! I dispair!
Bert Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Where has this been announced? The last LCFC doooovd I've got is when Rob Kelly saved our asses.
Cobbo Posted 4 May 2009 Author Posted 4 May 2009 Where has this been announced? The last LCFC doooovd I've got is when Rob Kelly saved our asses. It's not yet meert - but I'm sure they will be bringing one out. Just hope they make it well and don't do it as a rushed thing.
CosbehFox Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 They should take pre-orders to see if it's viable to avoid previous situations. I want one!
Matt Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 I e-mailed the shop earlier; Matt,It will be out before the end of May priced £15, it also includes all the goals from last season (07-08). Should be going on preorder very soon on lcfcdirect.com Regards Ben I'll be pre-ordering.
Cobbo Posted 4 May 2009 Author Posted 4 May 2009 Wahey, a dose of 07-08 too. How very exciting that will be.
Salieri Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 "it also includes all the goals from last season (07-08)." WHY??!!
lookwhaticando Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Goals from 07/08? What goals? All three of them, it'll only take a minute to show them. It'll probably be a "bonus" feature.
Scow Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 I hope they show about 17 different angles for every Bruno Berner strike.
Rise Against Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Why we need the goals from 07-08? let's look to the future, with our current squed. I'll probebly buy it, sounds great.
Matt Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 I was going to say Craig should sell them the rights the video he made, but the DVD is probably being made, disk being burnt, e.t.c, now if they plan to have it out by the end of May.
MC Prussian Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 All three of them, it'll only take a minute to show them. It'll probably be a "bonus" feature. My guess is either "Easter Egg" or "Additional downloadable content".
Koke Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 All three of them, it'll only take a minute to show them. It'll probably be a "bonus" feature. If Barry's shin-goal against Crystal Palace is in it, then I'll buy the DVD.
samjohnson Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 The DVD is a must buy for this season. Not that sure about adding the doom and gloom of 2007/08 on there... Hopefully it will be hidden away on one of the DVD menus
Webbo Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 15 quid?! Would someone be kind enough to put it on a torrent (if that's possible)?
Cobbo Posted 4 May 2009 Author Posted 4 May 2009 Surely you would not deny your club a little cash after a good season?
Webbo Posted 4 May 2009 Posted 4 May 2009 Surely you would not deny your club a little cash after a good season? I intend to donate the money I save to the Foxes trust to continue their good work.
