StanSP Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Does this mean that Coloccini will have to cover for Bassong?? Newcastle really screwed then
Asha Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Enjoying this. Think Newcastle will get a late goal though.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Hull are dominating so Kevin Davies with a goal in the last 10 minutes of the game and Newcastle to get some shit deflected goal and they will stay up and still think they are amazing. Fook off newcastle!
lou Posted 16 May 2009 Author Posted 16 May 2009 God I want Hull to score! Sounds like theyve bossed the 2nd half so its a shame they havent. As it stands though Hull are out of the bottom 3 but Man Utd next week
StanSP Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Defeat for Newcastle. If it stays as it is, Hull only have to match Newcastle's result next week!
davieG Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 A lazy question: Is it possible for Newcastle, Middlesboro' & Sunderland all to get relegated? Would be funny!
StanSP Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 A lazy question: Is it possible for Newcastle, Middlesboro' & Sunderland all to get relegated?Would be funny! Think West Brom would have to win tomorrow along with their game next week. Hull have to beat Man Utd, and then I think it's possible. Sunderland play Portsmouth on Monday!

Tommeh Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 As a side issue, soccer saturday has been hilarious last few minutes, Le Tiss and Thompson on fire....Brilliant stuff. Havn't watched it in over a year.

maddog Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 What an amazing week. Leeds lose in playoffs, Dons lose in playoffs, and now Newcastle look to be going down and Hull safe. Fantastic. Come on Villa.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Newcastle look to be going down and Hull safe. I'm not counting my chickens yet. Villa have looked shite for a while. Hopefully United will put out a reserve team.
Samilktray Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Newcastle look to be going down and Hull safe. Hardly.
Matt Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Boro will make it out. I'm not so sure, but they are welcome to as long as it results in Newcastle going down.
lou Posted 16 May 2009 Author Posted 16 May 2009 Boro are finished - apparently they didnt have any chances at all after the goal and never looked like scoring. Between Hull and Newcastle for the last place I reckon. Just hope Hull can match Newcastles result next week they both have tough games coming. Its good that Hull are at home at least.
Guest Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 So, given the fact that they have the Champions League final coming up, what are the chances of Manure taking a weakened side to Hull? For the conspiracy theorists, there is also the whole "sleeping giants" potential of Newcastle, so if it was possible to get rid of a possible future rival, hmmmmm, it could be quite interesting next Sunday!!

My official prediction is Newcastle to scrape a draw and stay up on goal difference which will be gutting
maddog Posted 16 May 2009 Posted 16 May 2009 Hardly. Thats what it looks like to me Newcastle and Boro need a result and other results go their way. Hull could lose 8-0 and still stay up thing is if Fergie rests 6 players they are still a better team than most of the other premiership teams, I can also see MON giving some youth and fringe players a chance against Newcastle. My official prediction is Newcastle to scrape a draw and stay up on goal difference which will be gutting I rekon Villa will win 2-0. I really hope Villa are 3-0 up at half time though
