Matt Posted 17 May 2009 Posted 17 May 2009 Leicester City, Nottingham Forest, Notts County, and Derby legends are back at the Trent FM Arena on Saturday, July 11 for the Sky Sports Central Masters. http://www.mastersfootball.com/masterscup2009_central.htm Teams not confirmed yet. C'mon City, time to reclaim the crown, we lost in the final last year didn't we? I know we have won in the last few years but thought we lost last year?
StanSP Posted 17 May 2009 Posted 17 May 2009 Might look into going to this. Could be a good laugh Any ideas on who the team might be?
Alexikokopops Posted 17 May 2009 Posted 17 May 2009 We won the Central Masters but messed up in the Grand Final. Went out to the Boro. We won it overall in 2007.
Matt Posted 17 May 2009 Author Posted 17 May 2009 Might look into going to this. Could be a good laugh Any ideas on who the team might be? The usual's I imagine - Carl Muggleton - Ali Mauchlen - Lee Philpott - Jamie Lawrence - Paul Groves - David Oldfield - Paul Reid - Gerry Taggart - Paul Ramsey At least a couple of them I would think. I've always thought about going but think i'd get bored tbh.

Koke Posted 18 May 2009 Posted 18 May 2009 Jake, could you please remove your Jade Goody signature. It's not nice and it's annoying the fuck out of me.
MarkDeVries Posted 18 May 2009 Posted 18 May 2009 Hold up, we are actually GOOD at this? As I recall?
DB11 Posted 18 May 2009 Posted 18 May 2009 Hold up, we are actually GOOD at this?As I recall? Yes. Our team is way too good
JakeShingler Posted 18 May 2009 Posted 18 May 2009 Jake, could you please remove your Jade Goody signature. It's not nice and it's annoying the fuck out of me. Seems a somebody has done it for me <_<
ousefox Posted 12 June 2009 Posted 12 June 2009 Our team. Should be good especially with Muzzy! Carl Muggleton David Oldfield Ali Mauchlen Paul Ramsey Paul Reid Lee Philpot Jamie Lawrence Paul Groves Muzzy Izzet Really looking forward to this!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Can't wait till this as i am going! We always win our Region and with a team like this well hopefully the British one too, not that i am over excited! Lee Pisspot is surprisingly good for us at this, Groves is the best player we have in my opinion with Lawrence mint in defence! Looking at the other teams a few names crop up: Gary Mills - Forest, is that our old Mills? Steve Stone - Forest Phil Gee, Gary Rowett, Dean Sturridge (one to watch) - Derby And a few other names

I might just be tempted to go now, just because Muzzy will be there
Ultra Posted 13 June 2009 Posted 13 June 2009 Muzzy's presence in the squad should ensure we'll be there or thereabouts again. I'll be surprised if we don't pick up another regional title at least.

Well I will be annoyed if we don't at least make the regional final. And if we can't come at least 2nd out of Forest, County and ourselves to achieve that it will be our own fault. I am quite suprised Muzzy is playing though. I thought his knees had completely gone.
Ultra Posted 14 June 2009 Posted 14 June 2009 They can just about hold out for the odd six-a-side session. Muzzy's been seen at Goals quite a bit since he retired.

Six-a-side won't be too hard, and he won't play every minute either.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Six-a-side won't be too hard, and he won't play every minute either. Yeah I know but I just hope everything goes all right for him.
BoneDog Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 When is this on? Please tell me it hasn't started already. I've been waiting for it but I forgot. EDIT : I should of looked at first page first ! I'm there for sure. Groves is a beast in this game
Bert Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 They can still play 11-a-side - Just not up to professional standard, due to they day in-day out and high intensity of it all.
