Got myself Spotify premium yesterday.

 

I didn't realise there was such a drop off in quality on the free service. Wired in on my over ears I'm hearing a fair bit more detail -  it's a bit like falling in love with the songs again.

I have no idea why, but I always put this on when I'm wrapping presents and it distracts me so much that it takes four times as long as it should to do it. 

 

Some truly diabolical lyrics to match Rod's appalling attire and the atrocious miming. Things don't get off to a great start when bassist Phil Chen misses his intro...

 

 

In addition to Chen, you've got the likes of Savigar, Appice and Cregan - I can't comprehend how such accomplished musicians can fail to pretend to be playing to their own music. 

 

Laughably entertaining and a dreadful song to boot.
