Ultra Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 It's a rather extreme means, just to get cover for Fryatt!
Finnegan Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 It's a rather extreme means, just to get cover for Fryatt! Narh he plays deeper. I figured he could make sure Andy King didn't get complacent, like.
Koke Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 Kaka would warm the bench and fill in for Andy King if he gets injured. He's not good enough to start for us.
eye666 Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 Milan are struggling if this true, lost their coach now lost their best and most inspirational player. Milan should have sold him for £100m in January. Their aging team needs some young boys - they coud have bought a new eleven + subs of Brazilian 18 yr old wonderkids for that.
ozleicester Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 It's a rather extreme means, just to get cover for Fryatt! we need the cover...Fryatt to barca?
samlcfc Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 If true, I wonder who Milan will spend the 56m on. dj campbell, Holloway cant compete with them you heard it here first
Cat Burger Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 Breaking news,Chelsea bid 72million. Great news. To see him move to Real at this time would be like waving goodbye to seeing him playing in England, whilst in his prime anyway. This could be the best thing Chelsea will ever do for the Prem.
Sparky Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 Bid of 73.5 million and wages of 10million a year AFTER TAX
dandannieldanok Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 Bid of 73.5 million and wages of 10million a year AFTER TAX Ridiculous wages.
MarkDeVries Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 This is unreal. 10 million AFTER tax. I reckon he will go.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 £200,000 a week after tax. It's just not even the same game anymore. I have to fight strongly against absolutely detesting top-level football these days. A comment on the story on Sky Sports... Lee Demain (Manchester United fan) says...Why don't they just offer the premier league 75 mill and we'll all go on holiday next season and not have a 09/10 season? they can just call themselves champions and put the trophey in their cabinet. they make me sick, they can't win the title without spending astronomically can they? pathetic club. Good job Berbatov, Rooney and Ferdinand didn't cost the best part of £100million between them eh? The whole thing is tragic.

Good job Berbatov, Rooney and Ferdinand didn't cost the best part of £100million between them eh? The whole thing is tragic. Exactly. I always fins it funny when a Man U fans tuts at Chelsea's spending. EDIT: Having said that it is an obscene amount of money.
Darkzzz_ Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 Fair enough it would be wonderful to see him play in England but the figures involved are a disgrace. He could become the most expensive and the most hated at the same time. Great player but nobody is worth that much, unless they cure people from death. What happened to good honest pros like John Spencer and Mark Stein?
Koke Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 Chelsea Football Club has issued the following statement in response to reports that we have made a world record transfer offer for Kaka.'We have never made an offer to AC Milan for Kaka and therefore not one at this extraordinary level. As a consequence we have not discussed a salary with the player either. Any reports to the contrary are totally untrue.' http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0...1686025,00.html This is why I hate the summer transfer window. I can just about tolerate the January one, but the summer one drives me fucking nuts. You don't know what to believe.
dandannieldanok Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 Not surprised, even for a billionaire like Abramovich the figures quoted would still dent his fortune to an uncomfortable level. Chelsea already have numerous players earning more than £100k a week.
Koke Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 I really want him to come to Chelsea badly, but not for that outrageous amount though.
lcfc_jme Posted 3 June 2009 Posted 3 June 2009 He'd be wasted on Chelsea, they don't deserve him. Wankers.
FoxesFan123 Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 I expect them to sign Kaka AND Ronaldo after the appointment of Perez. And they'll still be spending money after this. They probably wont strengthen the midfield or upfront (Huntelaar, Higuan, Raul, Nistlerooy), but need to invest in their defense, especially the full back areas (the only class defender they have I beleive is Ramos) Definately be a few departures on the cards (Gago, M Diarra, Guti, Saviola, Van der Vaart, Heinze, Drenthe)
Koke Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 Does anyone know how Madrid can afford all these big name players? How wealthy is Florentino Perez?
lou Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 Does anyone know how Madrid can afford all these big name players? How wealthy is Florentino Perez? Dunno but hes obviously not in my league.... we splashed out on Heinz baked beans this week instead of the usual ASDA own brand! HA!
