I realised though that if they are getting close to barging you off it you can let go of the sprint button and it gives you more strength and you can push them back and then keep running again. Guess its just to make it more realistic.

Guess its just to make it more realistic. It does feel more realistic but I think they've over done it. Defenders come out on top 9/10 for me whether i'm attacking or defending. Also annoying when you're 5 yards ahead of the last defender with a player like Gradel and all of a sudden some old slow defender catches a second wind and comes from behind to catch up, kind of thing that will end up seeing my controller in the tv screen. Slide tackles have been massively improved. I found with 09 if I slid in and won the ball I'd give away a free kick for absolutely no reason. This one seems a lot more accurate as to whether you're catching the man or the ball.

N.B. Please be aware i will probably ignore your advice and do what i think anyways

They seem to give away free kicks with every single tackle they go for . I think they are utter gash all over on the game tbh. They have the occasional good game but cpompletely reck your rating at other times when they fail to do anything. Still a fun game mode though, reckon it will get better at the end of the season when you can transfer to a better team.

There isnt a play off system probably something they need to buy the rights for but cant be bothered. The only decent team that made an offer for me were Galatasaray but as a reserve so I stayed with Leicester.

This. Last year you was through from 60 yards out, now your lucky to even get a sniff. The defending has been slightly over done and it will probably be nerfed in an update soon.

Porky Posted 6 October 2009 Posted 6 October 2009 As well as playing as City, I've started another game with Burnley. 18 games in and third in the prem on world class mode. Highlights so far include beating Man Utd 2-1 and lowlights include a 5-1 drubbing to Blackburn!

andy_croydz Posted 7 October 2009 Posted 7 October 2009 Does FIFA have any South American leagues? Brazil/Argentina? I wanna start a league there when I get it. Yes it has the Brazilian League. I don't know if you can start a career mode in the Brazilian League, I am guessing you can though because they are selectable when I play online matches so I don't see any reason for them not to be playable in career mode
