SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Was only a mater of time for bopara could of made another 2 runs to keep my multi alive tho. Serves him right for batting with a gunn and more I thought they stopped making them
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Worse part of the game so far is the boring commentary of llyod and hussien. But at least beefy is half decent

Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Worse part of the game so far is the boring commentary of llyod and hussien. But at least beefy is half decent They are both better than any Australian commentator ever. I don't mean to be rude (but I'm going to be) but there's clips on youtube from the last ashes of some of the most biased and one sided commentary I've ever heard, it's laughable at times.

Edmund Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Fooking hell what a shite start. I really can't see us winning this year. All this pre match hype up about Brett Lee's injury love in went to the players heads. I hate to say it but on paper Australia are twice the team we are.

I would prefer the english commentators to be biased than boring as bat shit as they are now. All 3 wickets barely rated a significantce whilst live and it was as if a dot ball had been bowled. Never been a good aussie commentator, jim maxwell, richie benaud and bill lawry are all very good. Shane Warne and Michael Slater are not quite the finished product but very informative and god forbid entertaining.....but hey your more than welcome to stick to your commentary that sounds like it is being done in the back of a libary (zzzzzz)

Get your coat son. Better than having our prime minister commentating.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Gilly? No good mate tooks to much irrelavance like the chappels. Healy and taylor just don't have a clue.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 David Bumble Lloyd boring?Get your coat son. Better than having our prime minister commentating. He commentates in the same monotone dreary voice and shows no level of excitment for appeals wickets or anything.

No way, Richie Benaud was a fantastic commentator. Holding is my favourite on Sky, followed by Atherton. Bumble is different, great commentator- not really, great entertainer- certainly

In fact I take back what I said, as Benaud is an absolute genius. I also hate Siddle, I really really dislike him and it's the first time I've seen him bowl today, seems like an aggressive little oik. In other news, I played against Hilfenhaus last year in a game for my uni as he was at a club, got bounced by him first ball, second ball hit me in the grill, third I cut him for four with a streaky cut and then had my offstump sent down the M56 by a ball which jagged away. He is seriously quick.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Haven't you seen him commentate on 20/20 matches? Don't get me started please
Edmund Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 He commentates in the same monotone dreary voice and shows no level of excitment for appeals wickets or anything. Yeah he has a monotonous voice but comes out with some classic lines.
