Corky Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Brett Lee ruled out of first two TestsSuch a shame, just when he was getting back into form.. Weakens their bowling attack, so good news for England.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 With breet lee's injury I bet Dirk Nanees is spewing he went and played for Holland cos if they choice a replacment he would of been the next choice....bowls great in tandem with siddle. If a replacment is chosen I would love clint mackay to get a call up was struggling playing Melbourne grade cricket a few years ago but put together a few good seasons and took 8 for the match in the recent Aus A V Pak A.
Brainy Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Weakens their bowling attack, so good news for England. Obvioulsy not for Ultra though.
purpleronnie Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 I'm hoping for an England 5-0 win but I'm afraid I can't see us beating the Aussies, 2-0 or 2-1 I think, hope I'm wrong though.
Milky Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Predicting an Aussie win is the easiest way to go. If it happens you can say i told you so, but if it doesn't you can jump on the victory bandwagon.
Corky Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Obvioulsy not for Ultra though. As much as it's good news to have him out, it'd be even sweeter to beat them at full strength.
Ultra Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 McGrath predicts another Aussie whitewash Just like in 05, eh Glenn? But this Aussie side is far weaker than the one that rolled us over down under. We can compete with them, as long as Flintoff and Pietersen stay fit.
James. Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Irony is so hard to convey on a message board.. That was sarcasm, not irony. Anyway. I can't wait now. Watched that 2005 highlights show on Channel 5 last night showing the first 3 tests (last 2 tests are on tonight). What a series. Half as good as that one and I'll be happy.
Milky Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 I think rain could ruin it a bit. Unless it gets us out of jail.

Fosse Boy Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 So excited now. Just a pisser that I'm working 7-4 shifts on the first three days.
Bert Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 So excited now. Just a pisser that I'm working 7-4 shifts on the first three days. At least you won't have to watch the majority of the Welsh opener 2-1 Aussie.
Fosse Boy Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 At least you won't have to watch the majority of the Welsh opener 2-1 Aussie. Bloody Welsh. They come over 'ere, steal our Test venues...
