I didn't have you down as a slater. I'm talking of those who don't realise the conditions. If the ball does fook all, there isn't too much more you can do but hope the batsmen get themselves out, and the Aussies have stuck in. A few of the England guys gave it away in the 60's/70's.

Definately hope for rain now anyway. Makes our life easier.

I was just messing, but yeah agreed, can't see us winning this now and although the rain will dampen any excitement left in the match, it's probably the best thing that could happen from an English perspective.

My comment was more a reflection on how shit it is when as an England supporter you start to hope that the weather saves us.

Monty! :D

We're getting some swing and movement off the pitch unlike yesterday, and the wickets are coming. This is where the slaters lack perspective and knowledge.

Yep everythings going great. :D

Good to get Clarke out near the end, but Australia still in a very strong position.

They've batted sensibly, Katich, Ponting, Clarke and North have all done very well.

We needed our bowlers to turn up. They haven't.

Flintoff's lack of match-sharpness at Test level has proved costly. Let's hope he improves in the second Test next week.

We've got two spinners and a fourth day pitch, yet he continues with uninspiring seam bowling. <_<

crazy fool

I just said the exact same thing to the dog, he agreed.

Oh great, no doubt if we get on top in a future match the heavens will open.

You just know as soon as the Aussies come to bowl the clouds will roll in and the ball will swing all over the shop. lol
