Darkzzz_ Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Great performance from the lad. What a powerful sound he has.
Libertine Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 WTF is the kid from Britain's Got Talent doing at MJ's tribute!!??....... Apparently MJ saw him on Yootoob.
Darkzzz_ Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Aww, Paris. I am not ashamed to say I shed a tear there, I know the way she is feeling. What a beautiful and brave young girl.
WardyisPukka Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 I like what Rev Al Sharpton said , even if it was a a bit over the top, the line when he said to mj kids , your father wasnt strange , it was things going on around him that were strange , kind of has a point i.e media etc
Libertine Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 I am not ashamed to say I shed a tear there, I know the way she is feeling. What a beautiful and brave young girl. Bit gay, but I can't help thinking how cute they all are.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Amazing performance from Shaheen, genuinely superb. Paris is a credit to her father, heartbroken for her when she stood up to speak.
WardyisPukka Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmhuQvkCKCw Just amazing , so wish i could of seen him live in his prime
Muz Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Did'nt like him when he was alive. Dont like him now he's kicked it. All the media hype is starting to get right on my knackers though.

Muz Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Everyones entitled to their own opinion , but why post if u didnt like him Because I can. Okay boss?
Bluefoxtim Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Everyones entitled to their own opinion , but why post if u didnt like him Because forums would be dead without discussions and opinions?
Darkzzz_ Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 I am not his biggest fan either, I liked him but I wasn't a fanatic, but I am just speaking as someone who knows what that shit is like. Just glad mine wasn't played out in front of the media circus like this was. I would never want this life.
Koke Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Did'nt like him when he was alive. Dont like him now he's kicked it.All the media hype is starting to get right on my knackers though. Loved his music, but he was a fucked up person. All those MJ fanatics, I laugh at their face whenever I see them. The only people I feel sorry for are his immediate family & friends and the people he worked closely with.
RizLCFC Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Greatest pop singer of all time loved him and his music, media made him look bad....R.I.P. Michael Jackson!
BlueSi13 Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Twas a stunning service today, very moving and an excellent send off to a wonderful performer, the only sour note for me was the constant "greatest entertainer of all time" and referring to him as "the KING" and not the King of Pop, it just seemed like some of the speakers were aggressively trying to steal the title from Presley, i always thought the King of Pop was perfect, why risk getting peoples backs up by saying that, still as the american commentator said, "its their party" so i guess they can say what they like and i can't blame them..... Btw Paris' speech killed me, she was very brave for doing it, hopefully the kids will be brought up right, well away from media attention
Monk Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Surely it's time to remove the question mark from the thread subheading. I missed the service today, I felt it was too much hype to bother with. I won't be crying when Gary Glitter dies, why should I when Michael Jackson dies? Allegedly the event was sponsored by Land Rover. That just about says it all for me.

Maybe because Gary Glitter was convicted of being a pedophile and Michael Jackson wasn't?
AjcW Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Ghost???Sighting of MJ the Ghost? Ghost videos always scare me, even though i know theyre fake they still get me...
Dan Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Everyones entitled to their own opinion , but why post if u didnt like him That is possibly the most contradictory post I have ever read.
