Daggers Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Why can't people just respect all that he did (musically and as an all-round international star) and all that he brought to us over the years? Why can't people just reflect on all the shit they flung his way before this nauseating wave of hypocrisy washed over the world? Anyone want to buy a ticket to the funeral?
BoneDog Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 I personally would prefer to read the court transcript before making my mind up either way, if you are implying that I am a hypocrite. Court transcripts aren't always proof of anything. There are loads of corrupt people in courts. It depends on which club the defendents in as to what happens some of the time. Also I know of alot of cases where majistrates are born again Christians and defendents can get leanient sentences if they are 'born again'. I've seen it with me own eyes when friends have pretended to be 'born again' and got off. I also know of a case where someone (who I used to knock around with) got away with attempted murder cos of connections. The only reason for loopholes is so that certain folk can get away with things.
BoneDog Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Like I said he openly admitted sleeping with young boys in his bed on TV interviews. Saying it was a "beautiful thing". If it was one of your neighbours you, and everyone else would be very quick to call him a paedo I suspect.... why is it any different for Jacko? I still dont think an innocent man with nothing to hide would have paid off his accuser with millions of dollars? Just because he got off doesnt mean he didnt do it. Theres been many guilty people aquitted either through lack of evidence or on technicalities. MY OPINION is he was a weirdo and a probable child molester. I wouldnt let my kids sleep in the same bed as a middle aged man, regardless of who he is!!! He did say that, but I don't think he meant that he bummed them or anything. I think he was just too naive. Maybe wrong cos it does seem a bit weird but I can't see why you would talk about it in public like that if you were a perv.
Guest Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Court transcripts aren't always proof of anything. The court transcript will detail everything that was asked, and every answer given. In the absence of actually witnessing what did or did not go on in Neverland, it's going to be the nearest I will get to knowing the truth, as I will be able to read what the evidence against Jackson was, and be able to read his response to it. Similarly, I will be able to read the testimonies of other witnesses. They don't slip in extra information afterwards, despite your conspiracy theories. It's not like after being acquitted, the court is going to say, "oh, you know that bit where he says 'I never sexually abused any children'? Just lose the 'never', and stick an 'm' in front of 'any', thanks". Really.

It doesn't matter what witnesses say, in some cases, they are liars plain and simple. Courts are places where alot of lies get told. 2. The cases I was talking about are not conspiracy theories. I was at the scene of the crimes, and I was in the courts at the time of the hearings, so I know exactly what went on. And I saw the falseness of it with my own eyes and ears. I'm not saying the court system isn't needed, I'm just saying that it gets alot of things wrong. Sometimes intentionally and sometimes by mistake.

I'm not saying the court system isn't needed, I'm just saying that it gets alot of things wrong. Sometimes intentionally and sometimes by mistake. Lies can come from both sides. It isn't unknown for the defendant to lie as well, you know. As for your experience, what exactly was false? Did someone's account of what went on not match yours? That's not uncommon. If you go and watch a trial, and listen to eye witness accounts, they all say different things. Did the police plant false evidence? If so, you should have said something to someone! Was it the nasty questions asked? That's what happens when cross examined! It still doesn't alter the fact that I would rather read what was said in court, and not what the tabloids had to say on the matter, as I know which is more reliable as a source of information. Unless you can tell me where I can read up on this, and come to a conclusion in a more educated and informed manner. I'm sure that there's a video on youtube somewhere.
lou Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 If not agreeing with, and questioning the motives of, a middle aged man sharing a bed with young boys makes me a hypocrite then Im glad to be one I still stand by my statement that every single one of you defending him would not do the same if it was a normal member of the public. Thats more hypocritical in my eyes
Darkzzz_ Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 I would have slept in the same bed as MJ. Seriously though, his music will never die really, love or hate it. I personally thought he was great at what he done, although I wouldn't go as far as saying I was a die hard fan, I certainly own a few albums. I think the media circus is very tasteless but at the end of the day he has lived his whole life in the spot light and to the media this is what they wanted deep down, it is a story and that is what they are there to do, spin the web.

lildave3 Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 How good would this memorial service be if the Billie Jean beat kicked in and MJ came out dancing. I'd laugh. Or they play Thriller and he just rises slowly from his coffin
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Why can't people just reflect on all the shit they flung his way before this nauseating wave of hypocrisy washed over the world?Anyone want to buy a ticket to the funeral? Well said.
Legend_in_blue Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Jermaine Jackson - that was an inspiring performance. Wow. All of it has been really well done - and at such short notice.
Samilktray Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Right after he finished someone popped up on MSN saying Usher is overrated. Havent been so mad in all my life, I defend that boy like my very own.
BlueSi13 Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 WTF is the kid from Britain's Got Talent doing at MJ's tribute!!??.......
