DJ Barry Hammond Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 decided to play as man city - Unfortunately bridge got injured - out for 3 months and i've now got to either spend my remaining budget (2M) on a new LB or trust on of the youth team to cover. My signings Lahm - 12M - Bayern Munich couldn't find anyone before the end of the transfer window so i'm stuck with McGivern for 2 months Lahm can play at left back - what cover do you have at right back?

Edit: score! Tottenham have transfer listed bale so i've landed him on loan till jan. and with the board increasing my transfer budget by 30 mill it's either him or baines joining in jan - in which case bridge will probably deputise. dandannieldanok Posted 2 May 2010 Posted 2 May 2010 Just finished a great season with Southend. Finished 5th in the league and into the play-offs against Charlton. Lost the first leg at home 2-1, with one of my centre half pairing getting sent off. Second leg at The Valley, won 1-0 in the normal time, they equalised as soon as extra time started and then I had the other half of my centre-back pairing sent off, only to then bag a goal with 10 men to force penalties. Unfortunately lost on penalties but it was a heroic effect to get there. Oh well onwards and upwards.

I always get results with Ched Evans so try signing him but i get best results with gen strikers from Eastern Europe & South America - get your scouts out there.

Signed Yaya Sanogo from Man Utd on loan, he is godly.

Just a few games i've tried (mostly failed).

I won 4-3 away at Barca with Sporting and then went on a seven game losing run in the league, which got me fired. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the end, having witnessed so many surreal matches in a row. After beating Man U 4-1 in the League Cup in the first season (ultimately went to the final only to lose to an offside RVP goal), I've now beaten them 1-2 at Old Trafford and 4-0 (FOUR NIL!) at the Walkers in my first Prem season. And in the last match they fielded a full-strength squad. They're way down in 9th place as well
