Bugg Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 Is it just me, or does Tunchev always go to Birmingham at the start of the season?
Mee Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 I play a combination of Niflore (£300k), Fryatt, Gallagher, Yann, Dyer and occasionally Waghorn in a three-pronged attack. Got £3 mil for Tunch as well. Ill try Niflore out
Mee Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 Just found this guy for Leicester. Darel Russell (Norwich) brought him for 450k. Scored 2 in his first game and carries on scoring. Play along side King and Wellens in 4-3-3
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 Waghorn goes on a free at the end of the 2nd season. Cole Skuse, Bristol City. Turns out to be quality and a bargain for just 800 odd k. Tunch is very good but 3 million cannot be turned down. Agrre with you about Cathcart hes quality and De Laet is also.

J.Lisemore Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 Just started with Charlton, got Cameron Jerome on loan till the end of the season somehow. Birmingham didn't want any wages for him either
Budweiser Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Had enough of Luton, two play off final defeats in a row has ended all hope. Not sure who to start as now, i've started so many career's but never got past the first games as I usually take a dislike to most teams, for no real reason . Oh, has anyone else started a game with 'no real players'? There was some Italian kid,15, playing for Inter, worth 12m, and an 'important first team player'. Looks tempting to start with re-gens, avoids the usual transfer happenings..but could wear thin. Anyway, most of you have had good careers with one team or another,so any recommendations would be welcome as I really can't decide So far i've thought of; Celtic Genoa Yeovil Thanks Ozwin, don't you usually select 'different' teams? Oh and shen I think!
dandannieldanok Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 Anyway, most of you have had good careers with one team or another,so any recommendations would be welcome as I really can't decide So far i've thought of; Celtic Genoa Yeovil Out of those I'd personally go with Yeovil, but that's just because League One seems to be the only league I can do decent in (because I always sign Michael Mifsud on a free transfer probably ). I've recently started a Southend season and I'm enjoying so far.
ramboacdc Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 5 points clear at the top of the premiership after 5 games. lost my first game of the season to stuttgart in the champions league thanks to a last minute winner. not happy also my england career is going well. one more win and i qualify for euro 2016. i win everything i touch this season i swear i will be in the hall of fame.
Fox92 Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 So, I am loving my Liverpool season at the minute. In the final of the Coca-Cola Cup v Chelsea. (lost the semi-final first leg 3-0 at Old Trafford before winning 4-0 at Anfield! Epic!) Got knocked out of the FA Cup, 5th round, v Blackburn. Top of the Premiership. In the fist knockout round of the Champions League v Lyon. I have lost 2 games all season, both in September, since then, gone unbeaten and now something like 27 games unbeaten. Only lost 4 games in all comps! Team: Reina Johnson Carragher Agger Aurelio Kuyt Mascherano Deco - £575,000 from Chelsea. Johnson - £3,000,000 from Middlesbrough. Gerrard Torres
Bugg Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 My best player, Jorge Concalves is out for 5 months with a fractured skull
The Doctor Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 mark yeates scores the winner 1 minute from time to send me to the final of the fa cup against chelsea. Meanwhile Macheda scores a hat-trick to put me 9 points clear of the play-offs with 3 games remaining for 3rd place QPR (2 for everyone else) and a gd thats better by 29. Looks like i'm going up (hopefully as champions seeing as i'm 3 points clear of reading in second and my final 2 games are against Crystal Palace (23rd) and Plymouth (24th).) oh and that slovakian striker is Zoltan Harsanyi. Edit: well 2 3-0 wins in the last two takes me up as champions, lost the cup final 1-0 to a spectacuar solo effort from anelka.
morris1234 Posted 9 April 2010 Posted 9 April 2010 started with west brom. top after 14 games. simon cox is a monster!! scored 12 goals in 5 appearances, then as soon as i praised him, he stopped! but back to scoring ways hes running away with the golden boot, with 15 in 12! my team: carson zuiverloon....tamas....olsson.....cech..... ...........................b.stock............................... thomas............dorrans......................brunt ...............wood.....................cox........................... same squad except brought in brian stock, fabrice muamba on loan, sean morrison and george boyd. i have ekici from bayern coming in january and per ciljan skjelbred. going up and staying up!

lcfc"weasel" Posted 9 April 2010 Posted 9 April 2010 Fook me why don't you just put the nails in my coffin now. Haha, it's a challenge. I tried and failed, ended up moving to Mansfield but I haven't been back on that game since.
Darkzzz_ Posted 9 April 2010 Posted 9 April 2010 Haha, it's a challenge. I tried and failed, ended up moving to Mansfield but I haven't been back on that game since. I might get started on one this afternoon during work. I am thinking about starting with Rushden & Diamonds.
ramboacdc Posted 10 April 2010 Posted 10 April 2010 i saved leicesters premiership status and got strachen sacked in one fell swoop. 2014/2015 season, final game of the season and my arsenal team couldnt go up or down from third and my last game was leiecester at home. they needed 3 points to stay up so i thought id help out and put my under 18s out. i went 1-0 up after 70 minutes and i was thinking "jeesus leicester the feck you playing at?" then in the 90th minute they got an equaliser. I decided to give them a helping hand with just 2 minutes stoppage time. i put my goalie up front. put my midfielder in goal and used the patented 0-0-10 formation. in the 92nd minute leicester score making it 2-1 and go from 18th to 15th (close league or what?) sending boro down and getting him sacked. i took a bit of stick from the fans but it was worth it because the foxes stayed up. in the 2015 season im top of the prem losing only one game. 3 points clear after 19 games. into the 2nd round of the champions league where i play the holders athletico madrid. my England team has croatia, turkey and isreal in the euro 2016 and im in the semis of the league cup (which i hold) against spurs and LEICESTER are in the semis after beating liverpool 1-0 and chelsea 5-4 on penalties. they have hull. gonna be an intresting season. most competitions are mine to lose now but leicester are hovering in 16th with 18 from 18.
shen Posted 10 April 2010 Posted 10 April 2010 Ill try Niflore out Forgot I also use a young Hungarian called Balajti. Fine 18-year old target man at this level for a mere 150k...
