I have a really enjoyable game going with Man City at the moment.

1st season finished 4th in the league. Currently mid-way through the 2nd season, won my champions league group with ease and im sitting top of the league having scored 53 in 18 matches. The last 3 league games were:

Arsenal 0-5 Man City

Man City 9-1 Aston Villa (only had 10 shots on target but everything flew in)

Man Utd 2-3 Man City

My best XI at the moment is:

Given

Richards

Toure

Samuel

Bridge

Kaka

Toulalan

Barry

David Silva

Kun Aguero

Adebayor

Ended up winning the league with 98pts. Won the league cup and lost both the fa cup and champions league finals on penalties. Decent effort though.

Signings this season are Casillas and Torres - costing a combined 135m!

Hoping to win everything this time around.

Does anyone know if it's possible to create your own team on FM that has no players or staff, then place it into either Blue Square North or South with a decent transfer and wage budget, then try and build the whole team from scratch?

Try the editor mode mate, There should be an option to add a new team as you can create your own leagues so it should be possible to do that.

you can use the Database editor to create a team and change a teams league but i think it adds players into the team when you start up a game with them involved

you can stop the game adding staff by disabling the "add key staff" option when selecting DB size, # of countries playable, # of league playable etc.

Right, I've created the team, but can't get them into the league, anyone know how?

The DB editor on mine doesn't work but if it's like previous years you need to go to the page of the DB editor for the league you want to put the team in, then go to the list of teams in that league.

Click on one of the teams so that they are highlighted then there should be a button that says "swap" at the bottom, click that then type in the name of your new team, when the name of your team appears on the list click on it then click ok and the teams should have swapped so your new team is in that league.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I did, the team had players when I took charge of them and the reserves is full of 'greyed out' players, released the whole first team so I can build it completely on my own, really looking forward to this challenge.

Hobbs has got no pace at all on this FM. What do you reckon is a realistic amount to change it to because 8 is far too slow for him. Reckon 12 is too high?

I'd say 10/11 would be accurate for Hobbs.

Just guided Norwich to the Premier League :cool:

Can't wait to see what sort of financial gain it brings...

Just started a game as Leicester with the leagues all sorted and stuff, going well so far with Fryatt banging them in. Played 11, won 6, drew 3, lost 2, looking promising. Managed to get Kakuta, Sarki and some Arsenal loanee who's name illudes me atm. Got Waghorn on loan too but he broke his collarbone or something in his first game so it didn't go so well for him.

First time i've been on it in ages but yeah it's in 2015.

Jordan Spence just snubbed me for Liverpool :( Although after 4 years on loan, it's looking likely John Bostock is finally going to sign permanently.

GK: Quim, Camp, Brill

DF: Fanni, Danger Fourpence, Bernt Haas, Ponce, Rat, Shittu

MF: Salami, Goodwillie, Yapi Yapo, Modest M'Bami, Danny Invincible, Mario Licka

ST: Bongo Christ, Hulk, Carlos Costly

He's okay, just not Champions League material. Looking at a re-gen who is 15 and is as good Zuniga, with incredible potential, so i think i'll cough up about 8m to sign him. 7th in the league, 3 points off a Champo League spot. Beat Chelsea away, drew with Ajax and beat Olympiakos :D
