BoneDog Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 bit of an obvious thing but fm10 is better if youre winning, on previous ones you could put it down to a blip and move on next game, try something different but it takes ages to find a good tactic and style of play that its incredibly annoying when you start losing. i started with wba and i was going 2-0 down in first 5 mins to plymouth and peteborough and just wondering wtf is going on, you try and change it and it gets worse. i think this years fm is very harsh, you make a mistake and it will punish and keep bloody doing it. Basically its not subtle, if you have a player out of position it wont show you getting ripped endlessly down that side for example, you will go and concede in the first minute. but when your winning and you have those tactics its very good, i mean very good! so it just depends if youre a casual gamer or you will put more into it....? I do play it for hours on end and and am always up for putting the work in so I will give it a go. I can't stay in the past forever, but I do really, really love 09 and will be sad to move on! As for this new ISP phone game thing or what it's called, I've never seen or heard of them! Way behind the times Sounds good though and I quite fancy getting one if the game is the same.

I started my new season, still in the Prem as Liverpool, and I got a message in my inbox saying "register players for new Premiership season". Now, I don't get it because I thought that only happened in Champions League. Also, when I go to buy a player, I get a red statement saying "8 players need to be home grown, currently 0". However, I have players that are home grown in England such as Stevie Gerrard, Mark Noble, Jamie Carragher, Jack Hobbs etc.

Under 21's don't need registering though.

Sold them just to raise money to buy that Dzecko from Wolfsburg for £20,000,000 and he is rubbish. I also rushed pre-season, only played 3 friendly's and only signed two players. Not sure if I should start a new one as Liverpool, but this time with the updates, or will I get bored as I am currently Liverpool in my second season?

AjcW Posted 16 April 2010 Posted 16 April 2010 Probably having my best game ever at the moment. Aston Villa. End of first season. Won the Uefa Cup... Finished 4th and had a certain Mr Agbonlahor scoring a total of 48 goals in 56 games! Finished the prem season with 8 first teamers available to me due to what can only be described as an injury crisis . Really, really enjoyed it... hopefully strengthen the squad in the summer in preparation for the champs league... anyone know any good.. reasonably priced champs league worthy players?
