Furthermore, if anybody wishes to name some loan signing fu*kups made by NP, go ahead.

Astrit Ajdarevic? Not impressed with at all.

Anyway, just watched Waghorn's goal against Derby. He looks an alright player, to be honest, but he was lucky to even score - it took a massive deflection off a defender.

Although I'm not a huge fan of Ajdarevic myself, how many games have you actually seen him play? More than Kermorgant or Waghorn admittedly.

Even then, he's not exactly a "**** up" is he? Even if he isn't up to much, it's a completely minimal risk signing. If he'd ****ed up on a player who was on a fair whack or cost a fee then fair enough.

Is it just me or does Waghorn sound like a uniquely FoxesTalk term of abuse?

STFU u Waghorn! ;)

I'll frecking Waghorn you all the way to Bristol baby!

Feck, we got waghorned!

What a waghornish pass, horrible!

Motherwaghorner!

Great FT swearword. Bilo hit the nail! Perhaps this is a Galtwort swear word as well? Sounds so Harry Potterish. I am happy to get some striker news, never ever heard of the dude, the praise is high and rising, the mention of young Rooney got me thinking we had loan deal of the century - whatever he may be, Nigel Pearson is a genious at getting talents, so In Nige I trust.

If this is true, support him for all you got, or I'll fecking waghorn you to a pulp.

Still amazes me how anyone can pass judgement on him. He must have played about 60 minutes of football all together last season, how can you get a fair opinion from that.

Davies came on as a sub on his debut in the FA Cup and he was a bit quiet, what happened after?

Granted, Ajdarevic isn't a fvck up, not yet anyway. He hasn't really had a chance to show what he can do. I'd be surprised if he changes my opinion of him this season, though.

Unless I'm mistaken, Pearson hasn't loaned in any strikers so far, has he?

So why did you say you were unimpressed with the loan signing?

I'm allowed to have an opinion on them, based on the stats and their record. I'm not saying other people have to agree with me, and I'm prepared to eat humble pie if I'm proved wrong.

(More than glad if it means we're scoring goals and winning games! :D)

WHO :dunno:

I don't see how a 19 year old who has hardly played any League football will be a good bet as a striker to get us goals.

Come on NP sort it out.

This guy is another Ferrraira/Djezri etc loan signing that probably won't play.

You really are a helmet. Jack Hobbs and Kerrea Gilbert were in exactly the same boat as Waghorn ths time last season and we benefited very well from them. Pearson's track record here is admirable and we should give him our trust until proven otherwise.

Anyway both Ferreira and Djezeri were foreign, having never played in this country before and from vastly different situations too.

PRAT!

In Nige we trust!

Only problem is, unlike Jack Hobbs, if this Waghorn scores a load of goals - we'll have no chance of buying him permanently!

But if we're in the Premier League, can't say I'd mind!

Likened to Rooney, whatever. He might be alright, but this cries of desperation - the sort of desperation where the only strikers he can sign are loanee youth team guys who have only managed to score one first team goal.

In Nige I trust, but this one - not too fussed. Be surprised if he plays more than 6 games all season. Ajdarevic no. 2, I reckon.

A contortionist?

I expect a few loanees, sure. He might be alright, I don't know. I'm just saying it doesn't get me excited, y'know.

If Markie has seen him play, I'd like him to shead some light on the guy's playing style...

For fook sake, all I was saying was that the signing doesn't fill me with excitement! I'm prepared to be wrong about him, I don't have a problem with that.

Actually what you said was NP was only capable of getting in loanee strikers and it was a sign of desperation you didn't mention not being excited until what you said was questioned. And what is the connection between this guy and Ajdarevic? :dunno:

You must remember, that some people on this site, object to people saying what they think.

It's not case of objecting to people saying what they think it's a case of questioning what's been said when there is no logic to it. I presume that when you post on here you expect to elicit a response if you're expecting agreement with everything you post we may as well close the forum down.

STOP FORMING OPINIONS BASED ON NOTHING! YOU DON'T NEED TO! JUST SAY YOU HAVE NO IDEA OR DON'T REPLY!

I hate negativity about our club for the sake of it. It's bloody irritating.

:appl:

I know practically nothing about this guy other than what ive read on here but we know Nige can spot a player so i'm sure he'll be a fine addition to the squad.

Fair enough, re-reading my initial post, it does sound harsh. All I was trying to convey was that I wasn't excited by this and it seemed like a contingency plan for lack of strikers of signing.

If you want me to acknowledge that I over-reacted with too little information, fine I did. :D

Ok I'll cancel the detention :P:thumbup:

As for contingency I'm inclined to believe he had this sort of move planned early doors irrespective of who or if he got a permanent striker in.

Thanks, Sir!

It's just, like most people my interest is peaking right now, it'll be in overdrive by Saturday, and the one thing I'm waiting on is a proper striker... Waghorn wasn't what I had in mind, y'know. But after doing my research on the guy, he looks like he could be a good 'un.

in the space of a handful of posts....nice bit of backpedalling! :P

I wasn't thinking, alright!

I was craving a belting striker not a YTS from Sunderland. I felt momentarily cheated. I have to back-peddle!

Waghorn's at a similar level to Ashley Chambers - who presumably will now follow Kee out the door, either on loan or permanently.

Thracian will have seen him in the Academy playoff final a couple of seasons ago. I'd be interested in his thoughts on this move.

I seem to remember Waghorn making a Premier League debut aginst Manyoo, which shows how highly Roy Keane thought of him.

or how bizarre some of Keanes decisions as a manager have been so far

although never heard of this bloke but signing any type of striker is a bonus

There's been plenty occasions when players not expected to stay on at their loan clubs do. Seb Larsson and Muamba immediately come to mind.

Nah, I meant more like if he did extremely well and scored 15-20 goals in The Championship his valuation would be through the roof, and Sunderland wouldn't want to let him go. Until we get into the Premier League I can't see us spending more than around £1m on a player.

(I bet this week Pearson buys someone for £3m now. Shit!)

If you mean the cup final at The Stadium of Light I went to that and cant say I can remember him at all! Probably too busy watching Gradel ripping them every 5 mins! lol
