Mattock hands in transfer request

Wow, that's a swift down-grade from 'one of our best players' to 'good/useful'

Well whatever, it's still sour grapes from a lot of fans including yourself, who would rather have him at the club than not.

If he doesn't want to be here - which he obviously doesn't, then not.

Unfortunatley there aint much loyalty in football now these days.

This is proven when a 19year old lad, still having a lot to learn, puts in a transfer request to move from his so called boyhood club.

My brother in law knows his dad, who is lcfc through and through im told......shame his son doesnt follow suit....

If he doesn't even want be here then he should go, £2million is very good money and if we can have add-ons with that even better. He at the moment is what most young players and thats inconsistant, though i think he isn't quick enough to even be a top class player.

We have a good left back who has played at the top level in berner and another who has done the same in powell even if he is a little old.

If we can get a young left bac on loan, and use the money to stengthen else where this deal will prob make us stronger rather than weaker.

I'd also play on him by knocking diaganal balls when he is playing against us.,

OK, if you say so.

We have a left back in Berner, there's the chance for a youth-teamer to get a bit of exposure & we'll have some cash for a new striker. If the arrogant little turd wants to 'further' his career by joining a club in the same division as us then it's perfectly fine with me. He was kept out of the side by a grandad last season.

the thing is a move has been always been talked about for mattock since he came on the scene.

rumours of everton and west ham are pretty much factual given that everyone seems to know someone who knows him etc etc local lad etc

so i cant help but believe mattock actually wanted to move long ago but has been influenced to stay as he is a young lad.

there never seems to have been a spell where a move hasnt been spoken about for mattock so it must have been on the lads mind for a couple of years.

i feel city have been patronised big time! 'stay with little leicester then off to a big club' mentality

also cant help but think the big bucks boys with england have had an influence

it does not surprise me that a move to a local side would materialise. was thinking premiership ie, villa but wba realistically have more of a shot at the prem than us.

the relegation issue has hurt our stature it seems. wba are no bigger than us but here we are losing our most promising players to them and like stearman to wolves last season.

the only thing that surprises me that mattock is actually going were his performances last season which were inconsistent and not the step up we all probably presumed they would be from when we were last in the championship.

Ah, so now we're getting to the bottom of it. His dad thinks he's crap too and wants him out of our club.

Let him go, f*uck it. £2million for him any day.

And the bullshit about him being a boyhood leicester fan?? my arse, he used to support united FACT!!!

Bye bye and take dj campbell with you, maybe give leeds some money nd give beckford his train fare aswell.

C**t. Would love to know the fee.

Whats the betting that it will be 'undisclosed'.

Most annoying thing.

The disloyal money grabbing cunt can fuck off, I wouldn't be annoyed if he went to the Premiership but to want to sign for a team in the same league is a sidestep, also linked with Forest, thats disgraceful to our fans. Happy with the money though.

I really cannot see the point in undisclosed fees, once you've payed it you've payed it, stupid if you ask me.

It works to the advantage of the selling club. So people don't ask us silly money just because we got a big fee.

he is one of our best players it is a shame he wants to leave the club.

He was learning from my school of full-back excellence as showcased against FT in a 6-0 win for the boys on here. He was inconsistent at best. He put us in real danger of pissing promotion up the wall at Hereford but thankfully he had team-mates who dug him out of the crap, who despite having up or down seasons or previously suffered from stick from our fans, performed with some effort to get the win.

Come on now he's only a 19 year old kid. I'm sure all of you lot made fantastic decisions at 17, 18 and 19.

He tried to make it work here it hasn't worked out brilliantly and it seems he's made up his mind he needs a change. Fair enough, we get money, he gets a fresh start and it's all good. It's not as big a blow as (say) losing tunchev or dyer.

If you leave Joe good luck wherever you end up :)

You really are a grade A cu*t aren't you? Fook off...

We are unambitious, how many Leicester fans have been really disappointed with how this pre-season has gone in terms of bringing players in to the club?

It has been poor considering how well we did last season and with Milan banging on about how we can go up in to the Premier League this year, it's ridiculous, we will struggle this season. without a doubt.

Ill pack his bags for him! Seriously overrated player, Dont think he'd be any good at Prem level! If a Loughborough Dynamo player can take the piss outta him , im quiet happy to let him go :)
