He didn't have a poor season last year, he didnt make many mistakes and was a solid place in our defence which played a big part in us gaining promotion. But i do agree that he didn't have as good a season as people expected. But then again he is 19 years old and its just the classic case off leicester fans criticising young players when they dont perform. Most players are inconsistent when they are young, you should let them learn from their mistakes and develop.

I think a lot of these young players lack character and young people in general he didnt learn a thing from Chris Powell a model pro who played for England and ran his guts out for us last season. Mattock you will never ever be as good as Powell you are a little worm.

Not too fussed about this, the best i've seen Mattock play is at Barnsley 3 seasons ago when he was 16 i think, he hasn't got any better and i prefer Berner or Powell.

Overrated and he will fall flat on his face, and will certainly be on the end of some boos if he ends up going Forest or West Brom.

I met his grandfather a couple of seasons ago and he was going on about Villa wanting him etc. The fact is his head has been turned by his agent for a long time now. Its big shame like others have said he could go all the way, or end up completly off the rader.

The boy has been tapped up while on England duty. Hes come come back and been offered big bucks

As city fans on this site, the majority would give anything to play even one game for the club we've followed since we were children. Mattock has been living the dream, our dream. Now he has stuck two fingers at us. I hope he gets the appropriate welcome from the LCFC fans when he comes back from WBA, Forest or wherever hes going.

If I were ever lucky enough to pull on a City shirt in my lifetime I'd never want to go anywhere else. His agent has obviously brainwashed him to some extent.
