Nod.E Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 This thread will last the season. Quality performance today. Super Danny! No, it won't. - You made it.
Bert Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Let's not run before we can walk eh. He's had a decent half, but that's it so far.
Joe. Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Let's not get carried away yet, it's one game. He was excellent today, but there's another 45 games to go...
Stuliasz Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Let's not run before we can walk eh. He's had a decent half, but that's it so far. Let's not get carried away yet, it's one game. He was excellent today, but there's another 45 games to go... I'm sure you are all coming down with Pearson-itis
Salieri Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 No, it won't. - You made it. Cant believe he didnt make it a poll either?! Dany N'Guessan : Is he the dogs bollocks?
Dames Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Way to early for this. Remember Josh Low? He was decent on his first 45 mins aswell or something like that.
BedsFox Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 He was good. Very good Zsolt Laskzo got a standing ovation after one game, was anointed as the next Maradona on here and it was a flash in the pan. Lets not get ahead of ourselves The main credit today, over and above Waghorn and Dany should go to NP for making two changes so early. A lot of managers would have given it 15-20 mins into the second half, and I doubt we'd have won
Budweiser Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Quality second half. Oakley looked alot more comfortable in the middle with Wellens. Will King start at Ipswich? Because I thought he was playing well until he got subbed.
Fox92 Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 It was crying out for him since the first minute and everyone could see that. Oakley is not a right winger and we need/every team needs pace in this division in which N'Guessan and Waghorn provided. But like above, lets not get carried away. Its one game and he had a good 45 minutes but by the end of the month will tell. Anyway, wheres the Waghorn appriciation thread?
GodsGift Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Extremely pleased to see Dany (only one 'n' ) get his first competitve goal for your lot Keep it up DNG! Congrats on your win as well!
flanimal Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 With N'Guessan and Adams both being high quality, you wonder where Gradel fits in.
lou Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Extremely pleased to see Dany (only one 'n' ) get his first competitve goal for your lot Keep it up DNG!Congrats on your win as well! Thanks - I hope he can sustain his good start. Good luck to you
daveyboy Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 With N'Guessan and Adams both being high quality, you wonder where Gradel fits in. The squad with every other player.
flanimal Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Suppose, if N'Guessan becomes the main starter, Gradel is his obvious deputy.
Thiago Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Dont want to put any pressure on the lad but I feel he could be a ballon d'or winner by 2015
Unabomber Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Dont want to put any pressure on the lad but I feel he could be a ballon d'or winner by 2015 Not too much pressure then
Rodders Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 With N'Guessan and Adams both being high quality, you wonder where Gradel fits in. I'd like to see him at right back, but it's never going to happen!
Ozwin Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 I never thought I'd see the day where Leicester were finding it hard to fit wingers in the team! Such a refreshing change from 2 seasons ago.
DanTheFox07 Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 Super Nguessan, I think this guy is gonna turn out to be a gem of a player!!!
Calum McDermott Posted 8 August 2009 Posted 8 August 2009 I was very impressed with Waghorn today he seemed like he always wants the ball and has desire. Very strong for his age and size aswell.
markbsac Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 as soon as i saw him on the ball ,his height, his weight, the way he run at players and not scared to take them on, its not that he looked like a good footballer ..he looked good and comfortable on the ball....add this to the fact that many other clubs were after him...god knows how we got him.i was worried about the step up.....i know its only one half..but he looked as though he can take this league in his stride.....but like my lad said "remember those 2 hungarians we had"
