Unit Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Right, everybody knows the situation regarding mattock, a 19 year old who betrays his 'home club' to go to a club that defines mediocre (i think he jogged past me on hinckley road today, should've kicked him over). As a 19 year old city fan I can confirm that I personally WOULDN'T leave city for a club other than one that one that was offering me 40 virgins a night (see what i did there?) ANYWAY, my little brother has just reported me that ricky sappleton is slagging city off on facebook saying that he wishes he could be 16 again and he'd make proper decisions, somebody asked if he meant signing for leicester, he replied "take a wild guess" I feel i need to say no more but it's pissing me off, i think they should keep the little ****s on low wages until they learn that they're earning a ton more in a month than most of us will in a year! Unit Posted 11 August 2009 Author Posted 11 August 2009 Have a glass of water. It'll make you feel better. WBA will never be bigger than us. Never. What's water? I know west brom will be in the premiership before us again, but yet they'll be back in the championship with us again, this is a club centred purely around the brilliant plan called "parachute payments", by going there he isn't half as ambitious as i'd like to think he would be, he was linked with west ham a few months ago, that's got to be a better move, the club is known for it's youth system... maybe he couldn't cut it there?
Unit Posted 11 August 2009 Author Posted 11 August 2009 He's gone now, let it go mate. ok, I'll let that go. What about sappleton? a fella who was otherwise known as a thug... we gave him a second chance but he's not happy. it's simple, score more and you'll get in the team.. Bert Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Who cares? He thinks he's big time when it's clear he isn't. Loaned out a few times and sent back, sometimes before the period was due to finish. He doesn't care about our club, so why should we care about him.
Wilkesy Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 He should do his talking on the pitch because doing it on facebook isn't going to help him out! To be honest we don't all get opportunities in life like he has, so i think he should at least be grateful for that!
Unabomber Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 He should stop moaning and realise that if he was actually something special he wouldn't be where he is atm.
Koke Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Isn't this the exact reason why QPR released him? Cos he's so fucking full of himself and thinks he is the dogs bollocks, when he clearly isn't.

You've hit the nail on the head, whilst i'm not jealous, i'm envious, i wish i could be in that position, i'd shut up and play, whereas my current circumstances are quite different. I wish I could complain whilst getting paid 8k a week for doing effectively nothing
Budweiser Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Sappleton is shite anyway, would have clearly made it by now if he was any good. Giving it the Mr Big Bollocks routine.
Bluefoxtim Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 If he doesn't want to be at the club, surely he could just turn up tomorrow morning and say feck off and then mutually terminate the contract? I'm sure he wouldn't be missed! The chances of him doing that are slim though, why? As he would lose his wages and no other club would take him on (even if they did, wages would be a fraction of what he gets now). He can't have it both ways.
Thracian Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 ANYWAY, my little brother has just reported me that ricky sappleton is slagging city off on facebook saying that he wishes he could be 16 again and he'd make proper decisions, somebody asked if he meant signing for leicester, he replied "take a wild guess" I wonder what his "proper decisions" would be? Change of career to security guard? Or keep faith with football by signing LilDave3 as a mentor.
clare Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 He should either shut up, get his head down and work hard or just piss off. I don't think he's going to win himself many fans with those sort of comments!

Vardinhio Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 this is awful. I'm sure if the club knew about this they would not be happy, how unprofesional

AmericanScott Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 And when Ricky's contract gets cut up and thrown away, he'll be hunting you down for making it public in the first place But i do agree with this thread.
