Ultra Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 I was thinking that and was reminded of the other two very good young QPR prospects, Ray Jones and Kian (SP?) Prince (granted they were both better players) - BOTH DEAD in their teens and maybe he should think about that and realise how lucky he is. This. Any professional footballer whinging on Twitter or Facebook deserves nothing but contempt. Especially if, as in Sappleton's case, they're being paid more in a month than most people of their age group will earn in a year.
AoWW Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Two weeks ago there were over 1,000 unattached players still seeking a club and a contract (according to the PFA website). Sappleton can whine like a little eBitch all he wants but we all appreciate the simple truth - this is as good as it ever gets for him within the game. No one he went on loan to or was offered to wants him. You have teams like Darlo cancelling friendlies because of illness hitting their squad which they are financially unable to bolster even if they wanted to. He isn't Blue Square Premier material, this is his last full-time contract: He needs to shut the fuck up, get his head down and do some prep work for his career outside football. Harsh... but fair.
Rich_Sheffield Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 what a cock. he's shit anyway. why doesn't someone show him the posts on this thread. Tell him I said "fook off"
purpleronnie Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Right, everybody knows the situation regarding mattock, a 19 year old who betrays his 'home club' to go to a club that defines mediocre (i think he jogged past me on hinckley road today, should've kicked him over). As a 19 year old city fan I can confirm that I personally WOULDN'T leave city for a club other than one that one that was offering me 40 virgins a night (see what i did there?) ANYWAY, my little brother has just reported me that ricky sappleton is slagging city off on facebook saying that he wishes he could be 16 again and he'd make proper decisions, somebody asked if he meant signing for leicester, he replied "take a wild guess" I feel i need to say no more but it's pissing me off, i think they should keep the little ****s on low wages until they learn that they're earning a ton more in a month than most of us will in a year! BANHGAHGAHGHAGHHHh Alright saying that now but if you were in Mattocks position more money better chance of playing in the premiership, advancement in your career not many would turn it down. You have to move on.
Guest Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Alright saying that now but if you were in Mattocks position more money better chance of playing in the premiership, advancement in your career not many would turn it down. You have to move on. Some people would turn it down, apparently.
lildave3 Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 I wonder what his "proper decisions" would be?Change of career to security guard? Or keep faith with football by signing LilDave3 as a mentor.
Thiago Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Shite at football, spelling ability of a 7 year old and a twat. Why is he still here? fook him off Nige.

carterfox90 Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 sappelton should be training even harder to make it & trying his hardest to improve instead of writing shite on his facebook most of us would give our right arm to be in his position ............grow up !!!!!!!!
Bryn Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Don't understand this onslaught at all. I think if the realisation that your dream career was coming to end you'd be pretty frickin pissed off as well, and it's his own Facebook for crying out loud, he can do what he likes on it short of draw bad attention onto someone else.
Koke Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Alright saying that now but if you were in Mattocks position more money better chance of playing in the premiership, advancement in your career not many would turn it down. You have to move on. Forget West Brom, even if Cov or Forest came in for me and offered me more money and better chance to play in the Premiership I'd call the missus and tell her to pack our bags. 90% of the lads here would do the same, even though they would never admit it.

I For one wouldnt, if Leicester made you into the player he is today then he could of at least respected the team and people who have stuck by him and signed a contract extension, i am glad that he has gone because with the comments about WBA playing better football etc he thought he was bigger than the club, and i have always preferred Berner or Powell since they signed because they're more deffensive. I would have stayed at the end of the day , I can understand where sappleton is coming from but like someone has said most of us would give anything to be in his position but he should be trying to get a loan move away from the club and try and impress there to force his way into the squad!!
Samilktray Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Loan moves arent easy to engineer under Pearson.

He gets paid over 1K a week by the so called "shit hole". The ****er is milking us for 2 years, no doubt funding his "bling" and "hoes". The club are aware of these rants don't worry. They want him off the wage bill, cus it comes out of the academy budget.
