Scow Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 I was always a bit bemused when Mattock was preferred to Berner last season, though the latter did play in midfield a fair bit. This is a guy who has played in the Premiership (albeit briefly) and for the Swiss national side. He's a very good pro and you can tell he loves playing for the club. Granted, he's not the quickest, but as Bert said, he knows what he's doing and uses it to good effect. One classy bugger.
