However, they were VERY entertaining and that'll probably keep them in for another week at least... Tonight I thought that Joe and Stacey were the stand out performances as both were fantastic... Afro was very good but I didn't like his raspy voice singing such a soft song however it's a personal choice and others will have loved it. It's also done nothing to making me like him any more... As for who'll be in the bottom two, I'm thinking Rachel as people just aren't warming to her and it wasn't a great performance tonight and one of either Miss Frank who weren't together or on tune enough tonight or Ricky who once again was distinctly average. Just also want to add, why do so many people like Danyl? Personally I thought tonight's performance was really poor at the start and he hit SO MANY duff notes! He's much much better when he starts getting to the higher shoutier notes, but aside from that, he's nothing.

I think the blonde haired lad is good, but he never stood a chance with this weeks bollocks genre, I mean what is "diva" hen the britany spears song counts? The Beyonce cover was pretty good I thought but personally I don't want her to win, will just be another Leona and Alexandra. Same with Stacey although she has the best voice IMO. Can we please have something different? Afroman is this years Diana, has a very unique marmite voice that I love but not enough people will like it for him to win the whole thing. On the whole, the quality is a bit cack for the final 12.
FilboFox Posted 18 October 2009 Author Posted 18 October 2009 Don't think I agree that Afro has a Marmite voice... I think it's good and it works with some songs, but it doesn't with others. I can appreciate that he's good but he's not unique in the way Diana was. She truly was completely out there with a really different sound... Afro is just another rock-sounding singer with a rasp to it which makes it good for upbeat and shouty songs. What I will agree with though is that Afro will be liked by some and not others... I'm not a fan, but can, like I said, appreciate he's a good singer. Quality is lacking a bit but it may get better... Joseph and Stacey do stand out though... Joe's had two amazing weeks and he's my pick to win the whole thing.

Everything i've read or heard talk about them seem to love them but I think they are poor, and a mess. Didn't like them in the auditions and didn't think they should have been put through to the live shows.
