Fryatt to Hull

If this happens, which I doubt it will, then I would like to see Nige bid for Waghorn.

Not yet, I wouldn't.

I honestly think Fryatt would trust Nigel Pearson, they both seem to have a respect for each other, and Fryatt is becoming the player he wanted to be probably down to the manager's involvement. Premiership money would be hard to turn down, but Fryatt is smarter than Mattock, he'll know that Premier League money and football at this stage would mean bench time, and would halt his progression as a player. At Leicester he's the main man, why risk his reputation and career on a move to Hull?

It's a shithole there! And the football club are pretty crap too!

Can't argue with that.

I hope your right, I personally don't think he'll leave either and that Mandaric would turn down a 4 mil bid as he knows the fans will turn.

With Bolton supposedly desperate for strikers, and with Gary Megson known for being a proverbial vulture to any player linked or on the roster at Leicester, is it not more likely that Fryatt would be linked with Bolton? Since Bolton apparently have only two strikers, and Hull having Altidore and Ghilas in recent weeks?

Would of thought so, doubt Milan would give one of our best players to a man who betrayed him though

I generally dislike Megson. Whenever he's on TV, I want to punch him. And it's not 'cause he's ginger, he ain't a ginger twat - he's just a twat. :D

Didn't people say in another thread that the moan in has been cancelled?

Or just that they've stopped people calling in?

Not according to the website.

Still on, still call and text in if you wish.

If Leicester received offer the last time Fryatt was in the Championship, I'd have taken it in a heartbeat.

This time, though, I would hold on to him unless I was offered a king's ransom.

Fryatt has worked very hard to finally mature into a striker that can bang in goals at this level and possibly beyond, and Leicester did their own due diligence to get him signed last year. Do we think Gallagher and Kermo are better than Fryatt and Howard? :/

This. Money doesn't get you points, players do. I would take Fryatt over an uninvested £4m anyday. As people have said this would also disrupt the squad at a time when things are going great.

Just thinking...

I wouldn't sell him.

No doubt, Fryatt will score the goals. He is a natural finisher, in the correct place at the correct time and deadly at times, just like Michael Owen.

People say that last time in the Championship Fryatt was poor but remember he didn't play that many games.

As well as that, confidence is key. When Matt Fryatt moved from Walsall, his confidence must have been high by moving up a division. With that confidence, he scored the goals that kept us up. The seasons' after, Fryatt didn't score that many but he was injured and confidence may have been low.

When the club were relegated and Nigel came in, Matty Fryatt obviousley had a manager that believed in him and Fryatt's confidence was most probably high and he scored goal after goal after goal.

No doubt, Matty Fryatt can finish when given the chance. Look at the season and the season before though, goals against Bristol City and Derby County etc...

Don't go Matty.

Is 4million good enough to be honest? Nigel will perhaps only get 2million/2.5million to spend and really it's not good enough. Heard the mention of Hayes at S****horpe United but is he good enough at this level? Beckford at 3million? Marcus Tudgay, doesn't score enough? I just wouldn't know who to buy, not a natural finisher like Fryatt, and there is not many natural finishers about these days...

FRYATT WILL BE GONE BY FRIDAY...thanks matty you will always be remembered...just dont score against us..but there again as we go up hull will prob come down

I don't think he'll go. Keep him a season, if he scores the scores, we'll get promoted and he'll be worth more than £4m. If Fryatt goes mardy, then all he has to do is take a look at DJ to realise that Pearson would let him rot in the reserves if he disrespects!

:D
