Flynny Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Out of cream, work tomorrow, anything that's a half decent substitute? I've heard conditioner but I've got a feeling that might sting.

Option A: Be a real man. Splash some water on, and do it from there, but make sure you take your time. Option B: Get to a 24 hour shop.
acooling08 Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 I'm some kind of freak. I'm 16 but still have no facial hair.
MPH Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 i usualy just shave in the shower.... after about 5 mins of relatively hot water, the steam/ heat of the water opens up the pores and gives me a clean shave every time... Never a spot or rash after wards either... EDIT: forget to mention that it doesnt hurt a jot either as all the bristles have been soften by same water/steam. Infact i never use shaving/cream/foam/gel
Flynny Posted 24 August 2009 Author Posted 24 August 2009 Option A: Be a real man. Splash some water on, and do it from there, but make sure you take your time. Option B: Get to a 24 hour shop. That's what I'm doing if I can't but I tend to look flushed for about 4 hours if forced to do that. Shop sounds too much like hard work.
the_bowman Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 I'm some kind of freak. I'm 16 but still have no facial hair. I didn't really start till a couple of months ago I wish I could get proper hair mine grows fast, but not much of it
Flynny Posted 24 August 2009 Author Posted 24 August 2009 I didn't really start till a couple of months ago I wish I could get proper hair mine grows fast, but not much of it I'd like to take the opportunity to disown the thread at this point.
Bert Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 That's what I'm doing if I can't but I tend to look flushed for about 4 hours if forced to do that.Shop sounds too much like hard work. Unless you have work at 2.30am, you're fine
Flynny Posted 24 August 2009 Author Posted 24 August 2009 Unless you have work at 2.30am, you're fine Oh well I'd definitely not accidentally forgotten that I could have one tonight. Nope. Nosiree. No way. As if.
Jack Duckworth Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Im far too old to bother with shaving my face now, plus the wife loves a good stroke of it from time to time... If you know what I mean
Bert Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Well I'm already bored of you Mr Duckworth. Aint you got a pigeon race on or something?
C-man Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Out of cream, work tomorrow, anything that's a half decent substitute? I've heard conditioner but I've got a feeling that might sting. As if you have work?
Flynny Posted 24 August 2009 Author Posted 24 August 2009 As if you have work? 3 weeks, full time, 7 quid something an hour. Fun fun fun.
Shrenchel Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 If you whip up the soap good it really aint that bad. I'll go weeks without making a trip to Boots.
lookwhaticando Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 I've not trimmed my pubes in months, does that count? Out of cream, work tomorrow, anything that's a half decent substitute? I've heard conditioner but I've got a feeling that might sting. I think we all know what line of work Flynny's in...
Wycombe Fox Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Out of cream, work tomorrow, anything that's a half decent substitute? I've heard conditioner but I've got a feeling that might sting. ...waits for Smuts to shout 'Jizz'
Bellend Sebastian Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Electric shaver?! Why anyone bothers with any other sort, I'll never know
Flynny Posted 25 August 2009 Author Posted 25 August 2009 Why anyone bothers with any other sort, I'll never know Because anyone who uses an electric shaver past the age of about 35 is immediately recognisable as such, you get something I can only describe as "bobbly skin".
Bellend Sebastian Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Because anyone who uses an electric shaver past the age of about 35 is immediately recognisable as such, you get something I can only describe as "bobbly skin". I'm 34, and counting down to this phenomenon of which you speak. Wet shaving just seems like so much faffing about to me. And I must have Desperate Dan stubble, because the blades are always blunt after about four days and cost about a million pounds* for 3 * tiny exaggeration alert
Tommy G Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Can't beat a bit of electric, takes about 4 mins for a full shave
General Smuts Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 ...waits for Smuts to shout 'Jizz' Ji ... nah too easy. I haven't shaved in about a week for 2 reasons. 1. I've run out of 27p asda brand disposable razors 2. I don't have a job anymore and have no reason to shave. Nobody has noticed due to my complete inability to grow facial hair. I can only described the bottom of my chin as less hairy than Dakota Fanning's gooch.
