ronnup Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1791283,00.html D.j hat trick! food for thought.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Not surprised we won, that's a pretty strong team for reserves. Anyone know who the trialist was?
Ozwin Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Dj's making it harder for Pearson to say no at the moment isn't he? Clemence looks about 50 in that pic.
smokey Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Good news about Clemence! Isnt Tunchev meant to be with Bulgaria??
dogadug Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Thats about the strongest reserve team i've ever seen us play. Why is Tunchev in the reserves, and not with Bulgaria though? Anyway great news about Clemence returning, but he'll never get back in the squad, and another gr8 performance by DJ, albeit in the reserves! Who's that trialist who was in the team, I though that the OS would tell us, but their keeping it a secret - so it must be someone big... Puyol, Ramos, Alves????????
Joe. Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Why is Tunchev in the reserves, and not with Bulgaria though? I'm pretty sure he's still not fit yet, and that's maybe why he wasn't involved for them at the weekend. Looks like he's not playing for them against Italy either.
milan_foxes Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Dickov played 65 minutes, Not suprised we got rid of him if he cant score against ur Res'.
carterfox90 Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 any result against derby is great news but what is going on with DJ has he had a change of heart & actually wants to play for us now he may be pushing for a place on the bench for saturday
Fosse Boy Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Always nice to beat the sheep, hope we see the Tunch back in the first team soon.
jonthefox Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Dj's making it harder for Pearson to say no at the moment isn't he? Either that or he`s putting himself in the shop window.. I still think he`s a twat.
knowitall Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Good news about Clemence!Isnt Tunchev meant to be with Bulgaria?? Bulgaria told Tunchev he would not be picked unless he gets first team, club football.
Ultra Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Cheers for that info. Any news on who the triallist was?
Anish Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Clemence will be crocked again in a few days, don't worry about that.
Finnegan Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Clemence will be crocked again in a few days, don't worry about that. You make it sound like you've got it arranged.
Father Ted Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Clemence will be crocked again in a few days, don't worry about that. No doubt there.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Kermo and DJ up front is looking tasty, albeit in reserves. Pleased about Clem, but no dobt he will get back to full fitness come on as sub for the first team and go and break his leg or something! Tunchev is slowly getting better, must be giving NP something to think about.

Yeah can`t be long before tunchev is back in the side! also good news about clem hopefully can get fit and push players in the first team for a game.
JakeShingler Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Not surprised we won, that's a pretty strong team for reserves.Anyone know who the trialist was? Steve McD
jimmer Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Great news on Tunch getting more match time, would love to see him cement a place back in the team. Trouble is who do you drop? what a lovely predicament! I cant stand bloody DJ Cambell, curse him for scoring a hatrick! also a suprise to see pshhhh playing aswel.............hmmmmmm BIG to Dickov running out for derby res! and still cant score! Nigel Clough must be thinking 'what a scoop hey' Keep up the work Clem
The Doctor Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 clemence played half an hour at this rate he'll be fit for the start of next season.
Lillehamring Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 glad to see tunch is getting back to full strength, i can see him coming in for hobbs, i know he has started well, but when newcastle stepped up he looked out of his depth... i think it's easy to forget that he is still probably playing a little above his level.
Salieri Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 It's Dj time Despite DJ's "heroics" in the reserves, you've just gotta accept that its highly unlikely he's gonna get a sniff of first team action any time soon. If NP decides to break the Howard/Fryatt partnership then lets face it, it's gonna be Kermo/Gallagher/Waghorn who will be given a chance. I'm not exactly keen to see DJ return to the side BUT the good of the team and results is more important than individuals. If he carries on knocking them in the reserve matches, and Nige decides he deserves another crack, then of course i'd get behind him.
