dandannieldanok Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 The Tranmere chairman should go before Barnes last season they finished 7th in the league missing out on the playoffs by 2mins under Ronnie Moore they played some good football, with little or no money invested and were a tough side to beat. The Chairman sacks the manager saying the club needs to move in a different direction and well they are because he gave the job to a couple of clowns who are known as dumb and dumber by the players the only direction they are going is down. As for Keane I think it's hilarious!! nothing more I would like to see than him fail Saved me the bother of writing it, 100% agree. Ronnie Moore must be pig-sick, horrendous decision to dismiss him.
Salieri Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 I thought Keane would turn out to be a very good manager. He started pretty well, but is going the wrong way in many ways. He seems to have a very bad attitude and a persecution complex. It's all very well being a disciplinarian and all that, but you have to know how to get the best out of your players. Some will react to a bollocking whereas others need an arm around their shoulders. I have a feeling he's just to stubborn and pig headed to take advice and learn how to become a top manager. John Barnes on the other hand should just give up. Now.
Sergio Hellings Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Barnesy and Keane ill give the another month and its dog walking time for both of them !!!! Dumb and Dumber in charge of Tranmere haha !!!
maddog Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Barnes is a complete clown and will be gone very very quickly. Keane however will turn it around, and Ipswich will finish in the top half.
Salieri Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Poor Johnny Barnes really does need to be put out of his misery.
Budweiser Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 Poor Johnny Barnes really does need to be put out of his misery. The funniest thing about this, is that EVERYONE knew it was a shocking appointment.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 19 September 2009 Posted 19 September 2009 I still think Keane will get it right but Barnes no way! Its quite funny though
davieG Posted 26 September 2009 Author Posted 26 September 2009 Tranmere drew with high flying Colchester Ipswich currently losing 4-0 at home to Newcastle (70th min) on BBC 2
Matt Posted 26 September 2009 Posted 26 September 2009 How much longer can Ipswich keep Keane? I actually feel sorry for Ipswich fans, Was funny seeing them have a go at Keane as he walked down the touchline to the tunnel
Salieri Posted 26 September 2009 Posted 26 September 2009 Ipswich were woeful today and Keane looked almost like he was past caring. If he starts growing a beard then its resignation time! But the way things are going, the sack will probably come first. On a side note, how much longer will Hull perservere with the horribly exposed Phil Brown??? Oh, and my inclusion in my accy of "whoever Tranmere are playing, to win" system, cost me bigtime today! Cheers JB, hope the boot comes sooner rather than later!

Hull chairman [insert name] has came out today and said he will stick with him 'til the end. Crazy, but he did get them in the Prem! Even if they did sack him, they would most likely go down anyway, unless they got Redknapp
lou Posted 26 September 2009 Posted 26 September 2009 am I the only person in the world who likes Phil Brown?
Salieri Posted 26 September 2009 Posted 26 September 2009 am I the only person in the world who likes Phil Brown? I neither love him nor loathe him. But if you look at his results since that infamous public dressing down, it makes horrible reading. If they stick with him they will go down, i'd put my house on that.

Webbo Posted 26 September 2009 Posted 26 September 2009 granted that was a massive mistake but I think he did amazingly well to get them up in the 1st place. Yes, and despite the slip in form he did well to keep them up last season as well.
Salieri Posted 26 September 2009 Posted 26 September 2009 granted that was a massive mistake but I think he did amazingly well to get them up in the 1st place. Me too. And after the incredible start to their first season in the league, he looked like a future England manager! How he has gone from the proverbial zenith to the nadir in such a short space of time is beyond me. They say you don't become a bad manager overnight, but he is seeming to be dispelling that myth! Who knows what went wrong. It could be after that incident he simply lost the dressing room, or other teams in the Prem began to find Hull and their style of play out. It's more likely a culmination of many factors but the end result is the same, he's soon to be receiving his P45.
Ozwin Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/5239...ight-yorke.html I'd be ****ing terrified playing under him, he sounds like a proper mentalist.
Tilley Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 Keane's a cunt. Who the hell is going to respect and perform for someone who just constantly screams at them?!
davieG Posted 27 September 2009 Author Posted 27 September 2009 Keane's a ****.Who the hell is going to respect and perform for someone who just constantly screams at them?! I thought you were talking about Wayne Brown then
Budweiser Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 I thought you were talking about Wayne Brown then Keane is a right twat. He wouldn't let the Sunderland players wear gloves in training when it was winter. I know it's not that bad, but it just shows how much of a plank the guy is. Whitehead should have smacked him, that would have stopped him screaming
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 September 2009 Posted 27 September 2009 I really thik after Ipswich's result yesterday that Keane might not have long a t all to save himself. I thought he would get it right eventually and would be given time but after seeing them, I think they might be getting even worse! As for Barnes, least he stopped the losing streak yesterday but think there is no way in hell he can see the year out.
lou Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 Keanes received the dreaded vote of confidence today..... Bye Bye Roy
