davieG Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Who's going first? Both 23rd out of 24 in their respective tables Keene P6 W0 D2 L4 Barnes P7 W1 D0 L6
Webbo Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 IIrc when Keane took Sunderland up they were bottom after 6 games as well. I think he'll survive. John Barnes should never had got the job in the first place, he won't be there at Xmas.

dogadug Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Barnes will definitely go first, soon Ipswich's new players will gel, and they'll be pushing for the play-offs, although judging on their current form, we should have beat them
lildave3 Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Barnes everyday. It'll come for Keane, whereas Barnes just cannot manage.
potter3 Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Barnes everyday. It'll come for Keane, whereas Barnes just cannot manage. Made it home then?
potter3 Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Did someone take pity on you and give you a lift? There's no way you'd be home yet if you walked or bussed it.
lildave3 Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Did someone take pity on you and give you a lift? There's no way you'd be home yet if you walked or bussed it. Yeah Get on msn or facey.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 I'd say Barnes, but only just if they carry on at this rate. Keane has sent money so the exscuse will be the players arent gelling, but I think they will improve eventually, whislt Tranmere just look doomed.
StanSP Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Keane to go by the end of this month. Barnes a week earlier.
Jay Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 The Tranmere chairman should go before Barnes last season they finished 7th in the league missing out on the playoffs by 2mins under Ronnie Moore they played some good football, with little or no money invested and were a tough side to beat. The Chairman sacks the manager saying the club needs to move in a different direction and well they are because he gave the job to a couple of clowns who are known as dumb and dumber by the players the only direction they are going is down. As for Keane I think it's hilarious!! nothing more I would like to see than him fail
Corky Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Barnes will go first. Why did they sack Ronnie Moore?

The difference is that Keane has gotten Ipswich into this mess, whereas he didn't at Sunderland.
MPH Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 i actually cringe at the way Barnes is inadvertently plotting his own downfall... I'm embarrassed to watch ex players, like Barnes tarnish their almost God like status... Best ever England song with the infamous John Barnes rap on 2:30 And of course the Barnes Goal against Brazil in '84 i think it was!!!
sdb Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Barnes will be gone ina few days. Keane will turn it around unfortunately.
Edmund Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 If I was a Ipswich fan I would be more concerned about the amount of money which has been spent. You forget Keane has forked out £7,000,000 and upwards yet they are still in the position they are. Deja vu anyone? It's very similar to when Milan came to leicester and we were spending money left right and centre for the sake of it and money wasn't spent wisely.
Guest Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Best ever England song with the infamous John Barnes rap on 2:30 What about his rap here? Unfortunately, I couldn't sit through it to tell you which bit he appears at!!

Thracian Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 It's hard to comprehend how fast Tranmere have gone downhill since they played City off the Prenton Park last season. Sacking a good manager never helps with team morale and anyone choosing to replace him with John Barnes can hardly have been on the basis of a glittering managerial CV. As for Keane I'm surprised. I thought he'd make a good manager.
Guest Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 I think Keane will walk before the year is out. He won't get sacked.

It gives me copious amounts of intense physical pain to sit through a youtube video of the Anfield rap!!!
