Bert Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Pretty much a follow up of Dandanieldannok's thread really. Used to like watching rugby, but I just seem to have stopped enjoying it now.
lou Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Used to love watching Horse Racing but dont now. Not sure why, probably just dont have time. Show jumping too in fact used to keep a horse so liked anything horsey really. Havent watched either of them for years.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Used to go and watch London Irish at the Madjeski but I just save my money for footy now instead. I liked cricket during the 2005 Ashes. Can't stand it since then though.
dandannieldanok Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 I've gone off rugby a bit too, used to follow the Tigers quite closely but I don't anymore. I don't enjoy cricket as much as I did a few years ago aswell.
Guest Bilo Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Used to enjoy boxing but gone off it a bit now, the characters just aren't there any more. Rallying is the same. The days of McRae and Burn (RIP to both) were the best by far.

Stuliasz Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Touring Cars used to be quality. F1 in the early-mid 90s too.
potter3 Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Used to enjoy a bit of basketball. Didn't use to find cricket quite so boring either.
Floating Fox Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Cricket. Enjoyed it until today when we thought we were going out for a casual game and the officer turned out to be a pro and got us doing proper training exercies. Won't be volenteering for that again. Although I am slighty tanned now thanks to the weather down here in gods country!
CKB Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 F1 Used to love it but it just got boring! way to many silly rule changes just ruined it for me
lildave3 Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 F1Used to love it but it just got boring! way to many silly rule changes just ruined it for me Y'know, your sig would be much better if it said 'Nani are you ok, are you ok Nani'.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Union and Motor sport can still watch every now and then but no where near as much as i used to.
CKB Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Y'know, your sig would be much better if it said 'Nani are you ok, are you ok Nani'. That's great! i've got a photoshop idea now!
MC Prussian Posted 24 September 2009 Posted 24 September 2009 I was a great lover of Basketball in the days of Jordan, Pippen, O'Neal (@Orlando & Lakers), Olajuwon, Barkley, Malone/Stockton, Ewing et al. (I was an avid Raptors follower), but now have completely lost interest. I even no longer visit the local basketball court like I used to do. It was fun, but the "bad boys" have somewhat ruined it for me and I don't see a true identification figure in that sports no more. And I enjoyed watching Formula One when Sauber was still Sauber and competing against all the Goliaths on the circuit. That excitement is also long gone.
Head Honcho Posted 24 September 2009 Posted 24 September 2009 Used to love watching Horse Racing but dont now. Not sure why, probably just dont have time. Show jumping too in fact used to keep a horse so liked anything horsey really. Havent watched either of them for years. ............or like me you don't have Racing UK or At the Races!
CosbehFox Posted 24 September 2009 Posted 24 September 2009 Was heavily into Basketball whilst the Riders were at Granby Halls for a good few seasons. But went one game at Loughborough whilst temporarily there and lost all love for it after. Losing my liking for Speedway to.
Finnegan Posted 24 September 2009 Posted 24 September 2009 Another one for the motorsport bandwagon. I think it's partly that touring cars (my former favourite) are shit these days and partly because I grew out of "ooo, fast cars." Have gotten back into formula one this year becaues it's been genuinely interesting but I still wouldn't say I'm a massive fan. Used to watch rallying regularly but stopped somewhere about the time the Escort RS Cosworth got replaced.
Samilktray Posted 24 September 2009 Posted 24 September 2009 I walked past 2 Leicester Riders players in Asda last week, jesus they were tall.
breadandcheese Posted 24 September 2009 Posted 24 September 2009 Used to be a big fan of WWF, but the characters in the game aren't up to the technical excellence of Macho Man Randy Savage, Bret Hitman Hart or Hulk Hogan. Shame really.
