weluv Posted 30 November 2009 Posted 30 November 2009 no, i think it's disrespectful and a way to cause confusion. And, as AFiE has said, referring to Man Citeh as 'City' exclusively annoys your fans. It's ok when it's a unique team e.g. Stanley, Palace, Orient, Alex but otherwise it's off.

To be fair, I was only speaking for myself there.
lildave3 Posted 30 November 2009 Posted 30 November 2009 Hearing another team called City doesn't annoy me in the slightest I've even called Man City 'City' on occasion, I fail to see the problem.
Craig Posted 30 November 2009 Posted 30 November 2009 Can't wait for United vs Town at the theatre of dreams.

I think you're being slightly disrespectful to Mold Alexandra, Merton Orient, Eltham Palace, and Leonard Stanley. But that's just me..

The Doctor Posted 1 December 2009 Posted 1 December 2009 mate when i say 'united' i don't fooking mean scum. I'm guessing plenty of Geordies, Cumbrians, Essex boys, Hartlepudians, Sheffielders, cockneys, Devonians, peterborians and herefordians agree with me. Same as i imagine it grates to hear people going on about 'city' exlcusively to refer to Man Citeh, when there's yourselves, Brum, Brizzle, Cardiff, Cov, Swansea, Exeter, Norwich, Bradford & Lincoln. Showing a bit of respect doesn't take much, so i don't think it's too much to ask. and again pal, read the fooking post and think about it before spouting off. do you want to try quoting a post so i can tell wether you hissy fit is directed at me, FF or someone else. Besides rather than lecturing us on respect you should try going to the people listed and see if they give a toss (who are the devonians by the way? There are only two professional clubs in Devon - Plymouth argyle and exeter city neither a United)

The Doctor Posted 2 December 2009 Posted 2 December 2009 Torquay? forgot about them but i doubt they give a shit seeing as how people who don't watch soccer am and don't give two craps about any division than "the best league in the world"© will never have heard of them. and tbh this applys to the majority of the supposed fans in this country. The majority of football fans in this country don't actually like football all that much, they just fund the machine by pretending to be manure or chelski fans, watching them on tv ocassionally so they don't get shown up for the fakes that they are thus paying sky who then give the money to the fa in return for the tv rights who in turn pass it on to the bigger clubs so they can buy better players which brings the fa more tv rights money and so on and so on

weluv Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 scum fans in the east upper have been told they're moving. 11.4k away at Old Trafford, lunchtime on New Year's Day that is all.
Fosse Boy Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 scum fans in the east upper have been told they're moving. 11.4k away at Old Trafford, lunchtime on New Year's Day that is all. Surprised they've given you the full whack.
Tommeh Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 The East upper is 6k. Unless you mean you have the whole scoreboard end which I'd be incredibly surprised at.
Craig Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 scum fans in the east upper have been told they're moving. 11.4k away at Old Trafford, lunchtime on New Year's Day that is all. Aren't you forgetting something? Or are you being the typical arrogant Leeds fan?
Mikey Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 scum fans in the east upper have been told they're moving. 11.4k away at Old Trafford, lunchtime on New Year's Day that is all. Doesn't really matter. You'll still get panned.

Dont worry about how many tickets.. or which United is mentioned, because after next Tuesday, you WONT BE IN THE CUP! The mighty Ketrin Town, will come up and smack your butt's, then head off to take on United at some provincial ground in the norf.

Just 'Town' will suffice. We all know who we're talking about
Matt Posted 4 December 2009 Author Posted 4 December 2009 Just 'Town' will suffice. We all know who we're talking about I find that awfully disrespectful towards the likes of Nuneaton Town for example.
weluv Posted 4 December 2009 Posted 4 December 2009 I find that awfully disrespectful towards the likes of Nuneaton Town for example. or even Nuneaton Borough... and we have the corner (3.6k) and the east upper, which makes 9.6k so I'd presume they're either giving us some more of the south stand or the top tier of the east.

You come on here talking about respect this and respect that and yet you are giving Kettering fook all respect yourself. The tie isn't won yet you know!!
