lou Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Man Utd vs Leeds! Hope they beat Kettering, wouldnt mind going to that Do you think youd stand a cat in hells chance of getting a ticket? Id have thought not. Even the Man U fans will be all over this one.
Corky Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Can't see Leeds losing the replay, the whole club from players to fans will want to go to Old Trafford, so I expect a very professional performance from them.
weluv Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Kettering were lucky as fook today...one shot on target and they score. Dominant all over the park, just couldn't get the ball in the net. Love how the BBC are playing up 'kettering will get man u if they beat leeds'. Ignoring Leeds-Man U as one of Britain's biggest football derbies, ignoring the fact that the only team to beat us at home in a year was Liverpool. Also 'United v Leeds' What the fook you moron? Leeds United? S****horpe United? Peterborough United? Newcastle United? Carlisle United? Boston United? Plenty of fooking united's around, the one you mean is Manchester United, please be specific instead of indulging in this media-arse licking of scum as 'united' when about 1 in 5 teams in British football is called 'United' of some sort.

You were shit in front of goal today.
Daggers Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Kettering were lucky as fook today... And you lot were piss-weak, team and fans; no noise until the equaliser from a stand that looked like it didn't even sell out its allocation. All told, you look a pretty average League 1 side - the kind we humbled last season.

Yeah, that pisses me off as well.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 The main reason that Leeds were held was due to Super MK of course. Ex Don Lee Harper as keeper and Manager, Ritchie Partridge setting up the goal and Sol Davis providing decent defensive cover. We're just awesome
Samilktray Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Leeds an average league 1 side? Dont talk wet
Daggers Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Leeds an average league 1 side?Dont talk wet I didn't say they were and average League 1 side.

Matt Posted 29 November 2009 Author Posted 29 November 2009 Also is it me or does Chelsea v Watford crop up quite often in the F.A Cup?
Fosse Boy Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Also is it me or does Chelsea v Watford crop up quite often in the F.A Cup? Yeah, I seem to recall that's pretty frequent. Why is it the main story on BBC Football though? West Ham-Arsenal and Bristol City-Cardiff are decent ties. Man U-Leeds will be massive if it happens.
weluv Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Outsung kettering by a fooking mile, with about half the ground or more of leeds fans (thankyou very much to Northampton and Desborough & Rothwell Whites for getting the tickets of Kettering and bypassing their shit postcode scheme). Had loads of chances we should have put away, but utterly dominant on the pitch. Can look forward to putting them out at ER in a few days and then off to Old Trafford in january.

From what I saw, they defended well and your finishing was poor. They took the chance when it came their way.
Tommeh Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Anyone of the following for me:Any 'Big' Prem team home or away, or Posh, York, Barnsley, Forest, Derby, MK, Cov, away please! But I would bet we get a shit draw like Palace or Plymouth away. Man United - Leeds is an absolute corker. Old Bill will already be shitting it.

Wouldn't have thought that's all that much to brag about to be honest. They're non-league and you're, well, Leeds.

Aaahhh thats where were going wrong... were too concerned about the scoreline yesterday when all that matters is that we outsung the Scunny fans

Brilliant.
weluv Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 what? they were. One shot, which Ankergren ****s up and they're 1-0 up. He didn't touch the ball other than to pick it out of the net. At least Higgs should be back for the replay, can't see us losing tbh. Becchio, Johnson, Higgs, Naylor & Kisnorbo all back so a much stronger team, and at home. Then on to Old Trafford

Then on to Old Trafford Who gives a toss. I thought Kettering defended brilliantly today, absolutely brilliantly. A non league side were never going to outplay you, especially what with Cooper leaving and three key players too. Today though they were heroes, all of them. Did the town proud. I'd have thought a Leeds fan would know better than most that there's no foregone conclusions. Yeah, Leeds will probably win and it'l be one hell of a tasty tie at Old Trafford, but on the other hand there's always a slim chance that you could be as awful infront of goal as you were today, sending Kettering to Old Trafford. Even the thought of that is amazing.

intotheforest Posted 29 November 2009 Posted 29 November 2009 Was a great game between the two today. How Leeds didn't take their 20 plus chances is baffling. Think Leeds will edge it though. The thought of the first Lancashire-Yorkshire derby in god knows how many years will see them through. Sure Kettering will be up for it but I think Leeds will just sweep them aside. Glad with our draw too. Fourth round here we come
