Ashley Posted 27 November 2009 Author Posted 27 November 2009 Leicestershire police are policing this game with Nottinghamshire police policing the EDL march.
Koke Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 I'll probably be in the Forest end. If we get a Gradel-esque free kick in the 96th minute I shall be recording the away end in case we do score and you lot go absolute mental.
lildave3 Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Went in today to get a Scunny ticket, and there was someone returning his lot. So if you need one i'd keep checking with the TO to see if they've got some.
lcfcadam Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Never been to the City ground before, what's the highest row up? Can anyone answer this question? I'm in X2, right in the middle so likely to be with any sitters but Row Y. Is that near the back?
Sods Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Can anyone answer this question? I'm in X2, right in the middle so likely to be with any sitters but Row Y. Is that near the back? Stand who gives a shit where you are, this is Forest away.
Tommeh Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Last time in the Cup 5,500 all stood freely. This is Forest not fu cking Cov.
john_lcfc Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Stand who gives a shit where you are, this is Forest away. my thoughts exactly.

Matt Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Doesn't this "Fuk it i'm standing" conversation happen alot, especially on the big games, Yet it never happens? I will stand if I can, I hope there isn't any kids, old people, or 'daytrippers' round me, I'm not holding much hope though.
RedHux Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 The stewards can be a right pain but many other team's stood and got away with it. I think you'll be fine.
C-man Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Turns out the ticket office sent my tickets to Leicester, useless. Been panicking all week but I can look forward to it now!

Eh? Never happens? Have you ever been to an away game? Maybe you're just referring to similar things being said before Cov this year?! Didn't go because I hate the place but I heard there was a decent amount standing with quite a few lads moving towards the back to join in. More than plausible that the people saying 'fuk it im standing' on here before the match did actually end up standing so I don't really see the point.
Ashley Posted 27 November 2009 Author Posted 27 November 2009 X1 anyone else? I'm in X1 row S i think. I'm X1 also. 30quid we'll all stand up.

Right don't get me wrong i'm hardly the most travelled watching Leicester away but i'm more than a daytripper, I have seen the "I'm standing" quote or discussion a few times - Maybe I was harsh saying it never happens but pretty much the only times I see the whole of our support stand is the away night games - Maybe it's more the diehard support willing to travel on a weeknight? Not sure.
Podge Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Right don't get me wrong i'm hardly the most travelled watching Leicester away but i'm more than a daytripper, I have seen the "I'm standing" quote or discussion a few times - Maybe I was harsh saying it never happens but pretty much the only times I see the whole of our support stand is the away night games - Maybe it's more the diehard support willing to travel on a weeknight? You'll have a good day pal, our away support is top notch, well i think

Not sure. I don't disagree but I think on your average saturday away day we usually get at least 40% standing. That's the point I'm making. People that come on here giving it the 'I'm gunna stand' are almost certainly in that 40% so what's the problem with them saying it? They did what they said they would and are not accountable for what the rest of our support get up to.
The Doctor Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Shouldn't think so. There was a reasonable amount of mingling when we played Dirby, with sheepy fans walking amongst us, and whilst they got a bit of stick walking past Amicis it was mostly harmless bantering. I'd advise perhaps a coat or something to hide colours though. No point in making life hard for yourself. Also, if you get there reasonably early and hide any Leicester stuff in your car you might be able to park in west bridgford. Approaching the ground from the A60 you just turn right immediately after the cricket ground and then right again and into a warren of domestic roads. Usually busy but the easiest place to park. Cheers No...because it's not 1973. Unless you're looking for it, you're not going to get in any bother. On another note...2-1...I can feel it coming to whom?
Katy Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009 Last time in the Cup 5,500 all stood freely. This is Forest not fu cking Cov. We managed to stand successfully at Cov. Going to attempt to stand tomorrow and at Forest, as long as it's not a QPR situation I'll be happy.
