Webbo Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Arsenal away. Not only because I have a soft spot for Arsenal but because it would really piss off all the 'real fans' if I got a ticket.
haraven Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Wycombe! We have a score to settle with those muppets!
jonthefox Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Non-league team away, the home ties against Stevenage and Dagenham last year were just awful with 7000 rattling around in the Walkers. Cambridge play York and Bath are up against either Forest Green or Mansfield, any of those away would be pretty good. i was at the stevenage game, and it was horrible.
Karljohn Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Sunderland with Martyn Waghorn (a 2m capture from the stadium of light!) getting a hat trick! Quite fancy Cov or Forest....big game and a big win for some momentum. Failing that it would be nice to have a trip to Anfield. Dont ask for much do I.
CosbehFox Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Arsenal away. Not only because I have a soft spot for Arsenal but because it would really piss off all the 'real fans' if I got a ticket. Hardly. We'd have an allocation of 9,000 if we wanted given the stadium holds 60,000, so everyone would be pretty much happy.
Corky Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 A local (to me) away, or a big side at home. Or a local derby.

Stuliasz Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Liverpool away please - never been to Anfield and want to City play there before they move grounds.
lou Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 West Ham away - purely because I love going there! Failing that Arsenal away - get to see the Emirates or Liverpool away.... been a long time since I went there!
C-man Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 York away. Pleaaaaaase. That terrace is godly and would be followed up by a huge shift in Revo's on the bank of the River Ouse.
Shrenchel Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Liverpool/Spurs/West Ham/Everton away. As nice as fvcking around on some lower league terrace would be, I'd probably get fisted in the ticket scramble for most small grounds I'd like to go anyway.

Tommeh Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 Stoke away Or any London (bar Arsenal) or Sheffield away
samlcfc Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 Liverpool or Tottenham away at some point in the comp
ramboacdc Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 couple of low down teams then preferably liverpool away at some point. my dad and sister are huge liverpool fans and have never been to anfield and i would love to go there myself. Me with a huge leicester following and 30-40k mad scousers. and at the rate they are going this season we could beat them.

Especially ones old enough to have grown up children.
mickydeeeuk Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 deffo want kettering, easy win for us! plus that would mean they would have knocked dirrty leeds out! and i live in kettering! result happiness, then man u away next round!
Katy Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 York away. Pleaaaaaase. That terrace is godly and would be followed up by a huge shift in Revo's on the bank of the River Ouse. Yes! Went there to watch them play Torquay last season, love their terrace and not a massive drive from mine.
lcfconion Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 I know the 2nd round hasn't been played yet, but i was interested who people would like to be drawn against. Home or away?Personally i'd like an away tie against a lower league side, as the atmosphere is always good in the smaller grounds. Preferably on the coast so we can make a weekend out of it. Brighton maybe. I'd also take Newcastle away mainly for the night out after the game (as long as Sky didn't move it ) chelsea away sounds fun

Not if they're charging £21.50 for terracing as they are against Leeds. Greedy bastards.
syston_fox Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 Newcastle away as I had to miss the bloody league game there!
Fox You Forest Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 Newcastle away as I had to miss the bloody league game there! Not sure i could make it up those stairs again tbh.
BoneDog Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 Burton Albion at the Walkers. It would mean Burton have made it to the third round again after their heroics against Man Utd a few years back and would be a nice little earner for them. Would be nice to play them at the Pirelli Stadium but not as good an earner for them, so I would prefer to play them at The Walkers first and settle for a replay at Burton which we win 5-1
The Doctor Posted 15 November 2009 Posted 15 November 2009 Liverpool away please - never been to Anfield and want to City play there before they move grounds. thought the ground move was cancelled because gillett and hicks realised they didn't have enough money to pay for it.
